In Boston, its worse- the leftists vandalized a memorial to black soldiers of the 54th Mass Infantry.

As dozens of statues have been defaced/destroyed across the country, its clear these BLM/antifa types have gone from not liking statues of confederates, to not liking statues of any white men who owned slaves, to not liking statues of any white men, to any statues period..

Many of these people are mentally ill and should be institutionalized
Fortunately liberal enclaves are beacons to them so since I’m no longer a cop I don’t have to deal with them or associate with them in any way
I can just watch them lower other peoples’ property values and quality of life from afar, on YouRube

My people?
You realize I'm for more government; this is quite the opposite. I know you disagree, but I don't think it's unreasonable to want to take money from law/surveillance enforcement, the MIC, and Wall Street and redirect it into science, education, healthcare, welfare, infrastructure, renewable energy...things that actually have long-term social and economic benefits. The most productive nation per capita in history deserves to treat itself instead of funneling money upwards.
I don't believe in some anarcho-commie-libertarian state which isn't based on Democracy. In fact, I would tell those who live in the CHAZ that the US is blessed with a number of lifestyle choices including communal, so the option is available if there's genuine belief in it.
That said, I don't really care either. If Seattle wants to allow some autonomous zone, more power to them.

Capitol Hill has been like this for decades with the marches, hippies, shitty urban gardens, but great restaurants.
The main difference now is kicking the police out which makes it sort of lefty version of the Bundy Ranch (SD’s people I guess)
Meanwhile all of my Western Washington peeps from Vancouver to Renton to Kirkland to Poulsbo are somehow hanging in there despite these 6 whole blocks of dystopian mayhem.

And let's just call them for what they are: libertarians. Unlike the posers here, the people of the CHAZ actually embody the philosophy to a tee (even if unknowingly). Afterall, anarchy and socialism are main tenants of the philosophy.
Heck, even the ANTIFA flag is based on the Libertarian Socialist flag:

Why can't they be both? They can be commies three days a week, anarchists three days a week and on the seventh day they can worship Gozer the Gozerian.kalm wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 3:57 am Are they commies or anarchists? It’s all quite confusing.

When did Vancouver become part of Western Washington?

Fine...SW Washington but still near Portland. You have to understand that Andy still shows up from time to time and he’s geographically challenged.UNI88 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:47 amWhy can't they be both? There are a lot of libertarians in Vancouver who work in Portland but don't want to live in Oregon. Ideologically it's closer to Eastern Washington then Seattle.
