I wear it if I'm doing something like going into a store to shop. I don't wear it in my own house. I don't wear it when I'm running. I don't wear it when I'm out in my kayak fishing. I just wear it when I am going to be relatively close to people who are not in my immediate circle.

I wear it in all public buildings and take it off once I'm 20 feet from the entrance. If I'm not wearing one outside, I won't encroach on someone's six foot ring of safety.

I wear a mask all the time indoors (excluding home of course), and outdoors for work, but I've been on a few hikes and almost no one is wearing masks. There's a handful here and there, but certainly no one giving others sh*t about it.

There are people on some boards for the AT that are angry that people aren't wearing masks OR that they cancelled their hikes and people are out there. If you can't be socially distant on a 2200 mi hike through 14 states and in the forest, then you are the problem.

Regarding outside: DE state parks require the wearing of a mask within 6 ft of another human. Almost daily, I run/walk a very narrow trail system at one of the parks. I have found that no runners wear masks. I have found that maybe 30% of walkers are wearing masks. I keep a mask in my pocket. If I see the other party wearing a mask, I will throw mine on real quick.

Yep. No need for a mask if I'm walking the dog or hiking and can maintain 6 ft of distance. I'll have a gaiter and keep it up if I'm downtown and can't maintain 6 ft.
