Why? Campaign rallies are pretty pointless and a waste. Trump is really regretting his Tulsa appearance.
Thankfully, we'll have a lot less campaign rallies this year.

That’s why (like I’ve said in other threads) you’ll see Biden pick a moderate who will then become the candidate.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:25 pmThey can't shield Biden..kalm wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 7:18 pm
They will shield Biden and let Trump run his mouth. I don’t care for Rice either but I don’t see Trumps numbers improving anymore than Biden’s cognitive abilities. Things are not going to suddenly improve and even though that’s not all Trump’s fault, I don’t see independent voters swinging his direction.
Agree on a third party making headway.
-Biden campaign just agreed to 3 general election debates.

-Biden has not done a press conference in 82 days, which he will eventually have to do (interviews with hand picked journalists & questions & ground rules don't count).
-Biden will have to come out of his basement and campaign. That's typically 80-100 hr weeks for a couple months straight.
Biden's liable to brag how he picked for VP 'a colored woman who's clean and articulate' and similar comments..
you talk to Trump a lot to know what he’s “regretting”?Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:32 pmWhy? Campaign rallies are pretty pointless and a waste. Trump is really regretting his Tulsa appearance.

So long as the Republican Party is not comprehensively defeated politically, and the Democrats do their utmost to avoid governing, it would be extremely foolish to rely in any way on American institutions.
I’m kind of familiar with Cooper’s work. He dislikes establishment Democrats almost as much as he does Republicans. He’s chortling because Elliot Engel, the House Foreign Affairs Committee chair, lost his primary this week to a black male clone of AOC.Ibanez wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 10:02 amhttps://theweek.com/articles/921833/wor ... quarantineWhen a country is as gangrenous as the United States, the rot tends to spread through its entire system sooner or later. Analjelly would have run with it if he’d seen it. Anything to make his beloved Donks look good.
Those people should've kept their mouths shut. It would've been much better if Trump thought those millions of requests were his supporters who didn't turn out. Not a bunch of kids who didn't like him. They should've kept their mouths shut.

Who is the guy's Congressperson or Senator? Should've got them involved and made a bigger stink out of this.

May sees biggest jobs increase ever of 2.5 million as economy starts to recover from coronavirus
Employment stunningly rose by 2.5 million in May and the jobless rate declined to 13.3%, according to data Friday from the Labor Department that was far better than economists had been expecting and indicated that an economic turnaround could be close at hand.
Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been expecting payrolls to drop by 8.33 million and the unemployment rate to rise to 19.5% from April’s 14.7%. If Wall Street expectations had been accurate, it would have been the worst figure since the Great Depression.
As it turned out, May’s numbers showed the U.S. may well be on the road to recovery after its fastest plunge in history.

Demonstrators blocked road with vans and removed wheels from vehicles
About 15 protesters were arrested Friday after they blocked an access road to Mount Rushmore hours before President Trump was scheduled to give remarks to kick off Independence Day weekend....
.... One group parked three vans across the road and removed the tires from two of the vehicles to make it more difficult to remove them. Several demonstrators climbed on top of the vans chanting “Land back!”
The sheriff’s office said attendees had been told to arrive early and should have been past the roadblock by the time the standoff began. However, the Rapid City Journal reported that some motorists who had tickets for Friday evening's fireworks show were unable to get through the protests and were standing by their cars watching the standoff.
The Journal also reported that law enforcement in riot gear as well as members of the National Guard had declared an unlawful assembly.
Police later used pepper spray on several protesters to break up the standoff and tow trucks were brought in to remove the vans blocking the road. Arrests were made after protesters ignored a police-imposed deadline to leave.
