Here's an idea.

Why don't the Republican controlled legislatures in the red states just rescind the popular vote to choose the electors for the Electoral College, and exercise their constitutional right to select the electors to the Electoral College directly.

They have more than 270 electoral votes.

Mail-in issues resolved.

But Trump says it's cool to mail-in in Florida. And the NC Republican Party is sending out mailers instructing people how to request an absentee ballot.

He's on both sides of it. Trump is nothing more than NY Mob scum.

I've read several sources on this. It's still not clear to me what is actually going on. I'm all for streamlining processes and introducing efficiencies. However, a red flag for me is that that mail-in ballots will no longer automatically be moved as priority mail. During an election year and so close to the election, why mess with the election process? I've said before that mail-in voting should be a requested service, like it is already. And verifiable. Another is removing ACCESS to postal facilities and boxes. I'm not sure I understand the logic of removing collection boxes. The COST of removing them is significantly more than allowing them to remain where they are. I must be missing something. Perhaps Conservative Treehouse has the truth. I'm sure of it.

I would love to see the evidence of fraud that Trump keeps talking about. I don't expect to see it b/c like 99.99% of everything out of his mouth, it's fake news. He's the biggest peddler of fake news.

My guess is that the truth is somewhere in the middle. The info in Fiver's links is reasonable and believable but the timing and motivation for the changes to the USPS by the Trump administration is suspicious.

When I have never owned that I don't like Trump? That's not an insult to me. I'm pretty open about how much I despise his politics as well as his lack of character. I didn't think that was ever a question. I gave him the benefit of the doubt early on but he proved himself to be the cheating, lying scum we all knew he was since the 1970s.

Seems to me like he is. Or are you saying Trump's word isn't to be trusted. He began making the distinction between the two a few weeks ago (probably b/c he didn't know there was a difference. Which would not surprise me.)
