So, Eisenhower was advancing a conspiracy theory when he talked about the military/industrial complex? Now you can throw the intelligence community, DOJ, State Department, and FBI into the mix.
The military-industrial complex is our military as well as the industries involved in the production of war materials. e.g Defense Contractors. Ike warned of their growing power and influence over policy and our economy. That wasn't a conspiracy theory, it was a warning (which we should've heeded).

Are you equating the MIC with a conspiracy theory of a shadow government that runs America?
That's pretty much the definition of Deep State.

I've seen the unedited video. He was chased, physically threatened, and he defended himself. He will be exonerated. I hope he makes millions on a book deal and the speaking circuits after he is set free. He deserves it, just like the kid in DC whose life CNN tried to ruin with slickly edited video as well. I'm sure he's enjoying his undisclosed millions in settlement money.
There apparently were two incidents in case we aren't talking the same. This is my understanding of what happened.

The first happened at a car dealership where someone either fired at him or in the air. In his defense he shot a different guy lunging at him. This was the guy shot in the head, who died.

It is then that he was chased down the street and attacked by the guy with the gun (shot in the arm) and by another guy who hit him with a skateboard on the back of the head before that guy was shot in the chest and killed.

While I'm not sure it was in his best interests to "carry", I can see self defense in all of this.
That was the the white guy, hot head, who kept saying n*gger this and that to the guys with the MSRs. Was in the tweet video that SD posted right before the 1st shooting tweet video.

Also saw an interview from the reporter, who interviewed the shooter before the incidents, an was an up close witness to the 1st shooting, and even worked on the 1st guy shot. 7:20 mark-10:20 mark, who would certainly be called as a witness. He indicates self defense in the 1st shooting.

And being chased by multiple people, and being clocked on the head with a skateboard= self defense in the 2nd shooting. He may get some lesser charges on illegally possessing an AR, but he's not going to get convicted of any murder charges..

Of course. But when the first happens...fuck it, let’s make it worse I guess.
I think their intent was to protect innocent people and property. Unfortunately, the mob threatened a life and the threateners were tango-downed.

Look on a map. The kid probably could have walked from his house to Wisconsin and almost certainly had a shorter drive to downtown Kenosha than any caravans of protesters coming from Milwaukee. I agree that it would be better to keep it local and not wanting outside agitators but that should apply to the protesters/rioters/looters as well.
Truth be told, I hadn't even looked at a map of Kenosha to see exactly where it was - for some reason I assumed it was north of Milwaukee. Agreed, this kid is probably almost a local even though he lived in Illinois. Would be interesting if he worked in Kenosha.
Yeah. 20 miles away. I'm about 19 mi from Charlotte and will tell people that's where I live. It's easier than having to explain where Fort Mill is.

You keep ignoring the other part - shadow government. SAIC, Lockheed, NG, Raytheon aren't operating in the darkness. The Deep State is something that isn't out in the open. The MIC is.

Rioters looters, yes. Protestors...different story.
Sure if you can differentiate between them before they park their cars and start marching down the street. If you can't, it's probably better to keep out all outsiders who do not have a legitimate reason to be within the Kenosha city limits. If governors and mayors can require that people wear masks why can't they put a moratorium on outsiders "visiting" a jurisdiction?
Kind of dovetails with what I’m saying. Tough to differentiate between well intentioned and level headed property protectors
and agitators with a superhero complex or underlying racism fetish.

I have no problem with a mayor or governor locking it down to outsiders.

I see about ten or twenty reasonable doubts.

Should be a nice future for the poor kid.

Not just different women, but 10 other women..big difference..And notice the edit at the 11 second mark, so whatever else he was saying in regards to those who should be warehoused, someone cleverly edited it out..Even given that, doesn't sound like he said anything wrong to me..

Let's see - Trump's had 3 wives? So I'd say 3 different women is ok, up to 5 should be a misdemeanor with a fine, then some jail time, but over 7 would be off to the warehouses. That's probably about right. :coffee:

I agree. That is too harsh. Forced sterilization seems to be a more appropriate alternative; otherwise, half the fuckin' NBA would be locked up for life.

Why else would anyone—especially law enforcement or any media outlet—go out of their way to humanize and low-key throw on a cape for a 17-year-old white guy charged with first-degree murder in connection with two homicides?
Why? How about because the entire BLM movement, the NBA, NFL and MLB have all thrown capes on and canonized half a dozen career criminals who were shot by police officers after committing a crime, resisting arrest and going after weapons. And rioters have burned down half of urban America in response to the “injustice”.

you’d think those fellas were fucking choir boys, not criminals with rap sheets as long as your arm.

Oh, and there’s no MSM outlet who’s “humanizing” this kid.
