That's what I thought. You're full of shit. If you had any balls or integrity you would've come back with something that would've shut me up.

Re: Hey Seattle and Portland.....
Other than a quick overnight stay in Oregon during a business trip to HP (Corvallis, yay), I can honestly say that I know little about the Pacific Northwest. I had no idea Portland, and Oregon by extension, was significantly racist from the get go. I do know from reading Chernow's "Grant" bio that the amount of racism, and violent racism, in the US (entire US, not just the South, although the South was particularly bad) during Reconstruction was jaw dropping compared to today, but I didn't realize that Oregon even forbade Black people from living in the state. Good BBC article.
"Portland is allowed to have a reputation as a progressive or edgy city because it does not have to reckon with its racist past, policing or segregation due to the demographics of the city," he said. "Portland is certainly a lovely city and is a beautiful place to live - but part of what it is built upon is colonialism, white supremacy and segregation. Many people say Portland is a place that pushes black people out of neighbourhoods and replaces them with 'Black Lives Matter' signs."
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53996159Portland Police is the target of most of the protests, not Donald Trump. Our (local) elected officials want to deflect the issue to Trump and many national audiences allow that to happen because they care more about what is happening at the federal level than in our small city.

Tim Pool reported that police were serving a warrant and it turned into a shootout. Shocker given this guys recent trend with violent acts.CID1990 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 5:51 amI’m guessing MSNBC didn’t run with thisBDKJMU wrote: And now the Marxist thug with the BLM neck tat, is dead-ay. I don't know what happened prior to that but running up behind someone and hitting them in the back of the head & body shows serious courage.CitadelGrad wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 1:49 pm It's about time. I love the ANTIFA pussy saying he's sorry at the end.

I might be missing something but it appears as if the vast majority of those dots are blue (protests) with a smaller number of orange dots (riots). Portland probably accounts for a significant percentage of the 570 riots.

Yes, you’re missing something. It shows riots in virtually every city of any size in America.

Re: Hey Seattle and Portland.....
I see a lot of blue (protests) and some orange (riots). The orange seems to be isolated to select cities. I would guess that Portland and Seattle alone are contributing a significant percentage of the 570 violent demonstrations.
America as a whole is not on fire despite what Lil' Donny wants people to believe in order to boost his chances at reeelection.

I just scanned the first few pages of the report the tweet spins, but it says the violent demonstrations are about 5% of the total protests.UNI88 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:31 amI see a lot of blue (protests) and some orange (riots). Yep. 95% of them being peaceful hardly qualifies for "mostly peaceful"
