Did we? Pollsters had Biden WAY up. Lots of suppression polling.
Beat me to it. The polls (with a few exceptions) by and large have proven themselves over back to back elections to be fake news.
It's not fake news - that's a boogeyman Trump invented to criticize news that doesn't flatter him.

Fox puts it pretty plainly.
So why did the public polls apparently once again underestimate Trump’s support?

“Trump voters are hostile to pollsters because they think the pollsters want to make them look bad. They wear it as a badge of honor that they refuse to cooperate and refuse to be interviewed. As a result, measuring the breadth of support for Donald Trump is tricky,” Luntz highlighted. “But to get it wrong twice in a row by huge margins is unforgivable.”

Veteran GOP pollster Neil Newhouse told Fox News that “there are a bunch of folks out there who don’t trust polls and therefore opt out of polls. They don’t want to disclose to others who they support.

“They believe that their responses will somehow be used against them or will be recorded someplace and attached to their name and specifically may not be comfortable telling someone else they are voting for Trump,” Newhouse, who served as 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s pollster, highlighted.

Sounds like Biden up 40k in GA
I never saw Biden up in GA.
FNC shows GA now 94% reporting, Trump up by over 100k, over 2%.
All counties have reported except Fulton (no surprise there). Trump is up 102K with about 250K left to count including absentee overseas military, provisionals, etc..

Speaking of CID, think he comes back now that the election is over? Or will he wait until the courts settle this before returning?

Biden winning was expected.
Senate staying in GOP hands, albeit with losing some seats - expected a little less but still expected.
The House seeing the GOP actually make gains and slightly lower the lead the Dems had in the House? Completely unexpected.

Any chance that given we're getting the change in the White House with Trump exiting, that we could also finally get the Dems in the House to finally convince Pelosi to also gracefully exit? I think we're stuck with Schumer as the Minority Leader in the Senate (although frankly I'd rather see that change as well to a younger Senator - I think Booker would be a fascinating Senate Leader, although far too young apparently). Could be a perfect time for ushering out all the old folks from all the leadership positions. Heck, the countdown clock on Harris triggering the 25th is just about to begin. :thumb:
