Actually, the Biden admin isn't to blame for the price increase. That's because Biden was declared the winner mid Nov, when the nat avg was about $2.10.

Bunch blue states no longer needed to keep their lockdowns in place to wreck the economy to defeat Trump. Blue states began opening up, and gas prices subsequently began to go up. If Trump was in office now, the national avg would probably be close to the same $2.89 it is now.

But actions the Biden admin is taking now will increase prices at the pump years down the road. The energy companies have years worth of leases and permits now, but those will eventually run low if not renewed. Keystone will have been ready in a couple years, as they were working on Phase 4 (of 4) when Biden's EO cancelled it. So the next admin if conk, will be blamed for price increases (or higher prices than they otherwise would have been) because of actions taken by the Biden admin. So I'm fine with the majority of conks & indies, and probably alot of donks too, thinking the Biden admin is the reason for the current price spike, even though they aren't..
