Says online students not required, and students will be able to request an exemption for medical or religious reasons. Wonder if this will trigger any lawsuits- a public univ is recquring students, in order to attend in person, to take an experimental vaccine that has only received emergency use authorization, but not formal approval, from the FDA.

At some point the formal approval is going to happen - do we know the timeframe on that? I think at that point there's no doubt that it gets added to the required vaccination list for schools and the military and any other place that mandates vaccinations.

And I think it's interesting that now that we've established that online schools can exist and can deliver education, I don't see them going away. There's always going to be some segment that wants online school. Heck, my district is going to use this as a cudgel (rightfully IMO) to push back against charter online schools that have popped up - there's no legitimate need for an online charter school if the existing school district can already provide that.

If Trump had been reelected would BDkkk be calling it an "experimental vaccine that has only received emergency use authorization, but not formal approval, from the FDA"?

FWIW, I'm scheduled to get my first dose tomorrow in Livermore. The Veterans Transport Service is picking me up about an hour before. My second dose next month will be a bit of a logistical issue, as I'm scheduled to attend a funeral in Fair Oaks (somewhat northeast of Sac) that morning. I think I'll have to drive THAT one by myself, and perhaps skip the reception after the funeral. Given how important that guy was to me, I'm irked no end on this, but the VA gave me no choice on the timing. It was either that or wait even more on the first dose....

Is that not what it is? Had this discussion with some friends a while back. They were 100% sure that the vaccines have received the usual testing and approvals any other vaccine has had. Does it not take years to get those certs?

I'm not saying that's not what it is. I'm wondering if BDkkk would be singing a different tune if Trump was POTUS. Would he be calling the vaccine experimental or would he be tooting Trump's horn because of his instrumental role in getting the vaccine developed so quickly and the number of people being vaccinated?

Good question. But the vaccine isn't what is making the numbers go down, it's been the steep decline in testing. I mean, cause you know God Fauci already said masks still have to be worn even after the populous has been vaccinated.

It’s like the American public are just a bunch of children who refuse to follow simple, precautionary and reasonable guidelines and don’t really want the virus to go away sooner.

Fauci is a dick. So is our media.

Just take a look at this survey asking people what percentage of those who come down with COVID will become hospitalized.

Only 1 in 10 Dems and 1 in 4 Reps got the correct answer of 1-5%. Look at the huge percentage that think over 50% of the population will become hospitalized.

Fauci, Libs and the media have promoted disinformation and thus many are seeing the truth and don't give a shit anymore.

Can you tell me what constitutes a COVID death?

Take a look at this CDC data. Pneumonia has killed almost as many people as COVID. Why are we not locking down ALL the time? The argument can easily be made other factors caused the actual death when looking at this data, in addition to the known high false positive rate of the PCR testing.

Yes, the Trump vaccine is an experimental vaccine that has only received emergency use authorization (EUA), but not formal approval, from the FDA, and shouldn’t be mandated until it receives formal approval..

I’ve seen stated formal approval normally takes years. Maybe its sped up. Obviously not as much urgency with formal approval, as getting the EUA issued. With the EUA, the 70ish% or whatever it ends up being of the population that wants to get it and bothers to, will have done it by summer or fall, and the virus mostly goes away..
