I thought it was just recognition that we had tens of thousands of folks, for the past few decades, basically working for what became the Space Force, but doing so under the umbrella of the Air Force (similar to how the Air Force originally operated under the umbrella of the Army before being called their own branch). It was a label change when we get down to it.

During WW2 the US Army Air Corps then the US Army Air Forces was essentially independent of the US Army. I'm not exactly sure why Truman made them their own Dept.

However, at your house, would you want a couple doz different multiple guys (and gals) (I’m assuming multiple a shift, 3 shifts a day, different people each day due to days off, leave) using the shitter in your house 24/7/365 when you’re there, esp in the this time of the China Virus?

If I’ve got a few contractors working in/on my house for a few days or even a week or 2 during the day, then yeah, by all means, use one of my shitters. But absent having a mansion, if there’s a couple dozen different people at my house 24/7/365 when I’m there + with the China virus (+ if had a wife & kids) we’re going to have to come up with something else like the rental next door or across the street.

Ok, I didn't see the 1/2 doz bathrooms part. I was thinking of it from the a perspective of a family of 5 (they have 3 kids) and guessing around 4 bathrooms. According to wiki, the house is a six-bedroom, 6,870 square feet. So you figure 1 master bathroom, 1 for the 3 kids, maybe 1 for a guestroom, and a 1/2 bathroom on a main floor, and another 1/2 on a bottom floor or basement. That would still leave 1 more..So yeah, the SS should be able to use 1 of the 6..
