Not really buying the urban/rural either, buts its basically the same 70%/69%.

Why shocking? With the ultra-left pap that gets stuffed into that cohort in college, 36% actually strikes me as high.

Sullivan, a man of the left, gets it.CID1990 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 5:11 pm Andy Sullivan on how the Dems are driving illiberalism, and also driving GOP illiberalism.

Without reading the article I would say this is certainly true.CID1990 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 5:11 pm Andy Sullivan on how the Dems are driving illiberalism, and also driving GOP illiberalism.

Our leadership...especially Trump

You see getting caught throwing Molotov cocktails doesn't even get you jail time?

You might want to check your "leadership" metrics. The latest "poll" only had them checking 9% of the Worlds population. The 9% that really hates when they have to pay their fair share of the bill.

Do you have the article?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:27 amYou see getting caught throwing Molotov cocktails doesn't even get you jail time?
I'd have to search for the article, but two young lawyers got caught last year throwing Molotov cocktails, and caught on film, but the courts don't want to ruin their promising careers, so no jail time.

These terrorists will likely get off the hook via a plea deal.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 9:14 amDo you have the article?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:27 am

Best I could find, they were offered a plea deal and have 90 days to respond. Haven't found details of the plea deal and don't believe they've been sentenced yet.
https://nypost.com/2021/04/01/lawyers-a ... otiations/Two lawyers charged with hurling Molotov cocktails at an empty NYPD van during a Black Lives Matter protest in Brooklyn last summer are still trying to hammer out a plea deal with Brooklyn federal prosecutors, it was revealed in court Thursday.
During the virtual hearing, defense lawyers for Urooj Rahman and Colinford Mattis requested an additional 90 days to work out a disposition, which US District Judge Brian Cogan granted.
Brooklyn federal prosecutors had offered the pair a deal on Feb. 11 but did not publicly disclose the terms.

Now you got me looking for the article. Maybe I simply skimmed it, but pretty sure it was only a couple days old.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 11:02 am ok. that article doesn't add anything to what i said.
I doubt they get off with no time. Otherwise, they'd be chomping at the bit to take it and not dragging it out for months. But, we'll see. Care for an avatar bet?

Damn good piece.CID1990 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 5:11 pm Andy Sullivan on how the Dems are driving illiberalism, and also driving GOP illiberalism.
