No

War is war. A cyber attack is not war its barely a crime let alone war
In normal cases I would agree with you. But in this scenario, with this timing, from the aggressor….

When a cyberattack shuts down the power grid for a few weeks or opens the sluice gates on a dam or spoofs track switches I think tunes will change on that score

Would also be a reminder that those systems should be disconnected from the internet via analog and manual, like we used to do. Esp with systems that were never designed to be connected to the internet in the 1st place.

Yep. I was wrong. Though Putin would take the part of Ukraine it wants through more of a slowburn infiltration/propaganda style. But I mean the weakest and most mentally frail POTUS in modern history is in power so now's the best time to grab what you want with brute force.

Wonder when China makes its move to eat Taiwan?

And I thought electing Biden was supposed to stop these kinds of actions abroad?
I didn't expect Putin to say he was going in to root out Nazi's...that's a wild leap.

Anyone thinking electing a US president would stop some other world leader from authoritative action is out of their mind. We have influence and power...but that only goes so far. Including under the strongest of presidents.
Except that was the platform. The "adults are back in charge" narrative even though Bidens* track record runs contrary to that effect.

Well, Putin did 2 invasions under Obama, 1 under Biden, and 0 under Trump. Why is that?

Those are kind of minor in the grand scheme of things as compared with the current Anchluss of Ukraine, no? We're seeing a sovereign nation being gobbled up here. Syria was, at the end of the day, an internal civil war (and an ugly one at that). Cyber attacks didn't change any political boundaries on a map.
Doesn't matter. They are part of a pattern of aggression that went unchecked. Of course Putin was going to invade. All the years of cyber attacks, activity in Crimea, support of those 2 regions when unchecked for nearly 10 years. All the while under sanctions.
Then why didn't this occur when "Putin's Puppet" was in power?

Ask Putin. I can only make educated guesses, which I have. The world is so much more complicated than performing military's action based upon the occupant of one foreign government. For all we know, Putin was planning on doing this in 2020 but the pandemic hit and made it more difficult. Perhaps, expecting to be removed from SWIFT and harsh economic sanctions, Putin didn't go live until he was satisfied with the economic plans he had made were in place and fruitful.

Trump wasn't a puppet of Russia but it was obvious that authoritative leaders and dictators give him a hard-on.

 Tucker is such a choad. I'm embarrassed that I used to listen to him in the early 00's.

Trump never stood up to Putin, instead he just stroked him off told him how much he loved him. The entire world, independently would say Russia committed a hack and Trump would deflect blame. Trump might've not been a puppet but his lack of action and his praise was good news to Putin.

Tik-Tok has had some pretty interesting videos of the invasion.

Also, apparently the President is on the streets ready to fight alongside civilians. If true, then impressive. I wouldn't expect any POTUS or legislator in the last 30-40 years to have the balls to do that.

During the Trump admin, we were daily monitoring NordStream II. It was an administration priority. The Biden admin lifted all objections to it.

NSII, as we are now seeing, was a pretty big fucking deal.

Trump certainly expresses admiration for strongmen but every bit of the narrative about him being somehow beholden to Putin is demonstrably false. The Trump admin was significantly harder on Russia than the Biden admin is, even now.
