I didn't understand that point last night. The Secret Service carries substantial weaponry. The vast majority of the rioters that day, thankfully, were not carrying weapons. So what was the Secret Service so scared of? Jan 6th was terrible and never should've happen, but it would've been 1000x worse if that mob was substantially armed, which they were not.
