Is that a dangerous book? Is it kind of like "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" was a dangerous movie in the 60's?

I'm not posting the non pixelated pics here, but it is full of explicit images of child pornography. Judge it for yourself.

I agree, that that is inappropriate for a HS library.

“You don’t say!”

Porn doesn’t belong in a school library, however anyone who thinks kids see it there first is a little out of touch.

As for an MFA in comics…$70k + as a median income isn’t terrible especially with a ceiling of graphic novelists and animation creators like Frank Miller or Mike Judge.

:suspicious:

I believe there is just a little bit of difference between a kid sneaking on his dad's computer and checking out his xhamster.com playlist and checking out a book from the school library with graphic depictions of teacher and school approved child pornography.

Are you actually trying to connect the dots between the two? :?

Right. As I said, school libraries don’t need to carry porn. Also true…is they are likely not the first place that kid will see porn.

How do you feel about non-pornographic books in school libraries with transgenderism as a topic?

The likelihood or whether a kid has ever seen porn in their lifetime is a strawman and not relevant to this conversation. Promoting and showing child pornography aside, should school officials be having conversations about graphic sexual situations with students?

Of course not and sure it’s a straw man.

What about the graphic nature of the Bible?

Why is it always whataboutism with you?

It is interesting that you're categorizing the recent 'gender affirmation' phenomenon as if it were a religion, though.

Your questions would be valid if the bible was turned into a graphic novel showing depictions of child pornography promoted and dumped into public school systems while teachers and administrators were covertly proselytizing to their students behind their parent's backs.

The way things are now, coaches and their players can't even take a knee and say a silent prayer after a football game.

Find me something...anything like that and we can have a conversation. Obfuscation and deflection is your game. I'm not going to compare a paper cut to a gaping chest wound.

True. So a graphically illustrated Bible should be banned and transgender affirming book without pics is ok?

Coaches and players can still knee and say a private prayer.
