Last week had SCOTUS agreeing to take a case on whether J6ers can be charged with obstructing an official proceeding, with obvious huge implications for the Trump trial, as those are 2 of the 4 chrges against Trump. ,

Now have to wait on 2 SCOTUS rulings which likely won’t be delivered until June, which means the DC trial isn’t starting in March. Bottom line looking less and less likely either of the fed trials or the GA one will take place before the election . The American voters will be the jury.

No I’m not. I’ve posted several times that I think biden is dirty and has profited from hunter’s activities and both should be investigated. In the end, I don’t think they’ll find enough evidence to convict.

There is certainly more evidence of trump’s malfeasance than there is of biden’s.

Is it still a “new” banana republic if it’s been one for almost 7 years?

UNI88 wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2023 10:21 pm Yes it’s my opinion that trump:

- Incited a seditious riot just like he’s intentionally said defamatory things about court personnel that has led to threats of violence against them. He has a history on inciting people to violence and then hiding from his own words like the chicken shit bone spurs coward he is.

- In another attempt to subvert American democracy for personnel gain, he instructed his minions to put together slates of fraudulent electors.

- He knowingly and intentionally obstructed the return of classified documents. Putting his ego before American security.

- He tried to cover up a bribe to a porn star (to cover up an extra marital) by calling it a legal expense.

The common theme here is that he puts his own ego and interests before the country.

There’s a whole lot more proof of trump’s wrong doings than there is of joey rotten and the biden crime family’s but that doesn’t stop gym jordan, comer and other MAGAt yahoos from getting their panties all wet talking about it.

I think those investigations and charges are valid. I also find he and his MAGAt yahoo followers complaining about them ironic (ie hypocritical) since trump has been using the courts to harass people for political and personal gain almost his entire adult life.
He’s talking about you
Have you read my posts? The Democrats are hypocrites because they’ve also used the stolen election canard and tried to overturn them. They tried to use legal means (1st impeachment) rather than threats of violence and fraud so they’re not as bad.

Republican are doubling down and now trying to impeach biden without evidence.

From his tweet.
I think this case is going to be tried, one way or the other, in April, May, June [or] July.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the big "victory" was that they expected this to push the trial past the election.

Based on the fact this stops pretty much everything and the original trial was set to start March 4th. You really think this decision is going to make it through Appeals court, then the full Appellate court and then to the Supreme Court 3.5 weeks after the original date?
The filing of President Trump’s notice of appeal has deprived this Court of jurisdiction over this case in its entirety pending resolution of the appeal. Therefore, a stay of all further proceedings is mandatory and automatic.

A more careful reading, (try going just a bit more slowly, sounding out each syllable), will reveal that its actually George Conway who thinks thusly. Not to suggest he knows more about the law, or virology either for that matter, than yourself, just sayin...

Wrong.

The state trials are a joke- everyone knows it. Ex the NY trial is literaly the same campaign finace filing misdemeaner charge elevated to a felony using a novel legal theory, and repeated 34 times.

FL trial he won’t be found guily. Not in that jurisdiction with that judge.

DC trial with Trump hating judge and most liberal jury pool in the country Trump of course would be found guilty. In DC Trump would be found guilty of anythibg- killing Kennedy, drowning puppies, etc. Smith knows that a conviction of Trump pre election could keep Trump from winning the election. Smith also knows the conviction, while likely be upheld by the DC Circuit, would eventually be overturned by SCOTUS, likely post election, where it wouldn’t matter.

Sounds like you’re now worried Trump is going to beat your boy Biden..

Relatively still pretty new

Remember when Obama, with nose held high in the air, proudly proclaimed that Donald Trump would never be the President? He knew the plan and the media was totally onboard…. Seemed like a safe bet. The Dems were certainly using banana republic tactics back in 2015 to ensure Trump never would be the President

Because Trump has been a buffoon his entire life. Everyone who’d ever been around him knew it. It wasn’t exactly a secret. They just didn’t count on how unlikeable Hillary was and they should have.

Chesebro, Sydney Powell, etc. must not know this. Chesebro has been talking to prosecutors in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Alabama.

But anyone who listened to the Georgia phone call does. If the recordings out of Wayne County are verified…woo boy.

And he gets off in Florida because he has the Judge on his side? Great argument for innocence there.

Keep fapping until 2025 about the ATL trial.

No. He gets off (hung jury) because it isn’t a Trump hating leftist judge, and they have a more balanced jury pool, not the most liberal one in the country that is 94% Blue.

So it’s not really about facts or the truth for you or that we have an appeals process. Just that Trump gets off.

Another possibility and it seems plausible.

Based on the fact this stops pretty much everything and the original trial was set to start March 4th. You really think this decision is going to make it through Appeals court, then the full Appellate court and then to the Supreme Court 3.5 weeks after the original date?

A more careful reading, (try going just a bit more slowly, sounding out each syllable), will reveal that its actually George Conway who thinks thusly. Not to suggest he knows more about the law, or virology either for that matter, than yourself, just sayin...
 George Conway and Klams point was that Trump will lose on his decision going to the Supreme Court. I was questioning the fact Conway thought it would only take 3.5 weeks to complete that path. Me thinks George gets paid to say shit like he did.

I think you need to go back and try again.

Virology is with a capital V. :kisswink:
