yep, it was a no-brainer because abortion was only 5th on the list of what voters thought was important - something like that... I don't remember your exact words but the main point was it wasn't a big deal
Of course you don’t remember 😂

Of the 7 states that matter, in 5 it likely won’t be on the ballot. IF it makes it on the ballot in AZ and NV, it will be to add to their state constiiturions access up to the point of viability, (23-24 as of now) which is already state law.
But keep barking up the ‘abortion is going to save Biden’

It doesn't need to be on the ballot to have people voting about it. And wait until Taylor Swift weighs in. :coffee:

Except you missed the part where FAR (as in exponentially) more people are going to be voting about the Biden Border Invasion, 21% Bidenflation, the economy in general (inflation adjusted wages down under Biden), high interest rates, unaffordable home prices, high crime, etc..See the Gallup #s above..

I think you're underestimating the number of independents and Republicans who won't vote for trump this time.

January 6 matters. The fake electors matter. Knowingly and intentionally obstructing the return of classified documents matters. The bullying and temper tantrums matter. Paying off a porn star to coverup an affair matters. Will they matter enough? We'll find out in November.

If either party had nominated a halfway decent candidate they would have crushed the other but here we are with a choice between two absolutely crappy candidates.

It should matter to all Americans. But I agree, it falls short as an issue. Unless Jack Smith and/or states prosecuting illegal electors schemes somehow can get a trial started ahead of the election.

I think you’re underestimating the number of democrats and independents who won’t vote for Biden this time.
‘Never Trump?’ ‘Never Biden’ voters might loom larger.

Certain Democrats trying to cope with President Biden’s continually underwhelming 2024 poll numbers share an article of faith: the ceiling theory.

All Biden needs to do is rally allies who are unenthusiastic about him — particularly young, Black and Hispanic voters — against Donald Trump. The former president’s ceiling, after all, has proved to be low; he didn’t crack 47 percent in either the 2016 or the 2020 election. And Biden has shown he can win a majority of the popular vote.

There is some truth in that. But it overlooks something important that hasn’t gotten much attention: Polls show that Biden’s ceiling actually appears to be lower than Trump’s.

While much has been made of “Never Trump” Republicans, “Never Biden” voters appear to loom even larger — at least for now.

Back in 2020, it was the opposite. Whenever the question was asked, the percentage saying they’d never vote for Trump outpaced the “Never Biden” contingent by double digits.

Often, at least 50 percent of voters said not only that they weren’t voting for Trump, but that there was no chance they would. At most, just 4 in 10 said the same of Biden.

That’s now flipped.

The most recent poll to show this is Monday’s New York Times-Siena College poll of six key swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Across those states, 46 percent of registered voters said there was no chance they’d vote for Trump, while 52 percent said the same of Biden.

That’s the biggest gap to date, including an earlier Times poll and CNN polling as recently as last month. But even with smaller gaps, every such poll in recent months has shown more “Never Biden” voters than “Never Trump” ones.

And in 3 of 4 such polls since November, it’s been a majority of voters who say they’ll never vote for Biden — just as it was with Trump in 2020.

Some of this is voters warming to the idea of reinstalling Trump as president.

As has been noted, retrospective reviews of Trump’s presidency have been better than they were at virtually any point when he was actually in office — something labeled by his critics as “Trump amnesia.” The CNN poll mentioned above is a case in point. While 55 percent labeled Trump’s presidency a “failure” in its closing days, 55 percent now label it a “success.”

So it’s no surprise the “Never Trump”segment of the electorate has dropped from 50 percent-plus to the mid- to high 40s.

But it’s also true that Biden just doesn’t appear to be a viable option for lots of voters right now — as much as a majority, and certainly many more than in 2020. That same CNN poll showed 61 percent regarded his presidency thus far as a “failure,” for instance.…[/b]

As a threat to the country, sedition > drug dealing.

Regardless (or irregardless for CID) of his past history, Floyd should not have been killed. The BLM movement could have picked a better person but Floyd was a symbol for all of the black men who have been unfairly arrested, imprisoned and killed. Through our history, we have not treated people of color fairly and they have a legitimate gripe. Rioting, destruction of property and violence were not the appropriate response just like January 6 was not the appropriate response to trump losing to biden in 2020.

The people who stormed the Capitol on January 6 are enemies of the state. Pardoning them would be giving them aid and comfort.

Ignoring the biden's condition is definitely dangerous but I'm not sure it's seditious. Ignoring trump's obvious mental illnesses and worsening mental health is also dangerous. So is ignoring his blatant attempts to undermine our elections and our Constitution and dismissing his seditious statements as trolling.

No, but Biden and Mayorkus intentionally opening our boders wide open (see all the exec actions in 2017) for upwards of 10 million illegals certainly is. What happend on J6 is a blip compared to the Biden border invasion.

Back on topic ...

Farah Griffin: If Sotomayor flew upside-down flag GOP would call for her resignation
The upside-down flag had largely been associated at the time with the “Stop the Steal” movement and efforts to stop the transfer of power based on false claims of election fraud. Alito has said his wife was responsible for the flag.

In a panel discussion on CNN’s “State of the Union,” the former Trump aide-turned-CNN pundit criticized the Republican response to the reporting, which she called “deeply disturbing.”

“If after Donald Trump won in 2016, Justice [Sonia Sotomayor] hung a flag upside down on her front lawn, we, Republicans, would be calling for her resignation,” Farah Griffin said Sunday.
Is she wrong?

If yes, why?

If, according to BDKKKaren, we can't trust "liberal democrat Trump hating judges" how can we trust conservative republican biden/liberal hating judges like Alito, Thomas, or Cannon?

FTR I'm with Ganny in thinking that Alito and Thomas aren't corrupt but I do believe they let their bias' interfere with how they interpret the law and each case which makes them poor jurists.

And Clarence Thomas didn’t text Meadows that the Clinton’s. Fauci, Obama, and Bill Gates had been rounded up and incarcerated at Gitmo and that the Kraken needed to be unleashed and the election overturned.

Farah Griffin: If Sotomayor flew upside-down flag GOP would call for her resignation

Is she wrong?

If yes, why?

If, according to BDKKKaren, we can't trust "liberal democrat Trump hating judges" how can we trust conservative republican biden/liberal hating judges like Alito, Thomas, or Cannon?

Only if you trust the word of a conservative republican biden/liberal hating judge.

You believe a liberal judge's bias makes them a poor jurist but refuse to apply the same standard to conservative judges. Is that a double standard, hypocrisy or both?

It should matter to all Americans. But I agree, it falls short as an issue. Unless Jack Smith and/or states prosecuting illegal electors schemes somehow can get a trial started ahead of the election.
Floyd, an abusive drug dealing punk killed in the street by a cop….. becomes a national hero

Female Vet, doing stupid things on January 6th and is shot dead by a cop, not a peep
She was a volunteer, she knew the risks.

The other guy was executed slowly, in the middle of the street, in broad daylight, while wearing handcuffs.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Yes, and he was being recorded by numerous iPhones too

I hope they used those points in his defense because who would willingly do that?

Samuel Alito Gets Remarkably Candid in Secret Audio Recording

“I think you’re probably right,” Alito replied. “One side or the other is going to win. I don’t know. I mean, there can be a way of working, a way of living together peacefully, but it’s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised. They really can’t be compromised. So it’s not like you are going to split the difference.”
