One can find this information/misinformation from other sources. At least with Twitter there’s almost immediate check downs and community notes.
Twitter doesn’t exist anymore.
Twitter doesn't exist - but doesn't mean you aren't free to believe in a Great Tweeter whom we'll all be judged by after we die.

the playbook calls for destabilizing America. One of the ways to do that is to break up the family unit.
I don’t want to break up the family unit. I want to respect family units that are different from my own. It doesn’t impact me if 2 men get married, 2 women have a baby using a sperm donor, etc. if 2 people love each other and want to spend their lives together and possibly raise children, more power to them.

A marriage is simply a contract between 2 people. The government has no right to discriminate and limit who can enter into such a contract. If the term marriage causes Christofascists angst then the government can change the name and whoever presides over the ceremony can call it a marriage or not.

I find it fascinating that Christofascists get so hung up on something that doesn’t impact them. The supposed party of freedom sure is interested in dictating to others what they can and can’t do.

People who want to gut public education should not be calling out others for wanting to destabilize America.

Nice to see the party of limited government is still protecting the constitution.
Louisiana schools are now required to display the Ten Commandments in their classrooms.

Republican Gov. Jeff Landry signed House Bill 71 into law Wednesday. The legislation, approved by state lawmakers last month, mandates that a poster-size display of the Ten Commandments in “large, easily readable font,” be required in all public classrooms, from kindergarten to state-funded universities.

If I was a teacher I would put them up along with other spiritual guidelines such as Buddhist & Taoist Precepts, Hindu Yama/Niyama, etc. Religious zealot heads would pop when their kids come home talking about finding their zen.

Tell me you know nothing about Buddhist & Taoist Precepts, Hindu Yama/Niyama without telling me you know nothing about Buddhist & Taoist Precepts, Hindu Yama/Niyama.

As a teacher, if the government requires me to put up the 10 Commandments, I will do it until it's overturned in court as a violation of the 1st Amendment. Doing so provides a teachable moment about religions and is an opportunity to show that many belief systems have similar guidelines. Putting up Buddhist & Taoist Precepts, Hindu Yama/Niyama, etc. would be part of that lesson. Don't want me to teach that lesson, don't require me to put up the 10 Commandments.

A poster who supports a candidate who's been accused of sexual assault/rape by 26+ women, fathered 5 children by 3 different baby mamas, been sued in civil court probably thousands of times, been indicted 4 times (with approximately 88 different criminal charges), bribed a porn star and playboy model to cover up extramarital affairs, etc. probably shouldn't be lecturing others about perverts or morality.

CH, think about the opportunity to compare Christian principles to other religions. If Christianity is the true religion then it should win that comparison hands down. And the analysis and discussion will strengthen students' critical thinking skills. Isn't that one of your pet peeves about America in general and education in particular? Or do you prefer that children are indoctrinated in Christianity without any real discussion?

Louisiana has some serious issues. Not sure what an irrelevant list of rules will do to make things better.

Honor thy father and mother. Even if they’re physically and sexually abusive drug addicts who can’t put food on the table.

A poster will save you!
— One of the highest poverty and child poverty rates in the US (26% of all Louisiana children live below the poverty line),
— More than twice the rate of death for women in childbirth than the national average and almost twice the rate of child and infant mortality,
— Terrible high school graduation rates and one of the lowest adult literacy rates in the entire developed world,
— A 38.1% adult obesity rate, one of the highest in the developed world,
— One of the worst violent crime rates in the country (549.3 incidents per 100,000 people, vs the US national average of 366.7),
— STD rates off the charts, usually ranking in the top 5 in America for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis,
— The second-lowest life expectancy in the nation,
— One of the worst levels of income and wealth inequality in America,
— Almost twice the national rate of hunger (“food insecurity”) with almost one in five (16.7%) of their children going to bed hungry every year,
— More people dying from heart disease than almost any other state,
— Among the worst and most lethal air pollution in the nation (see: “Cancer Alley”),
— Almost twice the national rate of teen pregnancy (27.5 per 1000 females 15-19 compared with a national rate of 17.4), and
— Almost twice the number of people in prison as the national average (680 per 100K vs a national average of 419).

Occult? :suspicious: You mean witches have taken over the DNC? Burn them!

Louisiana is proudly fixing problems like helping poor children with meals and a better education system and cleaning up pollution, by violating the constitution and required posting of the 10 commandments in schools?

Weird set of performative morals you got there.

And since you’re worried about moral decay you’re voting Republican and Trump?

Okay.
