It's a silly and pointless political talking point. It's the counter to the Dems and media talking glowingly of Biden's "heroic" and "selfless" decision to step aside in the race. Once the money dried up and the donors said they were holding back money unless Biden left it was already decided. Biden was forced out and there wasn't any heroism or selflessness involved. But to your point, who cares and is that a bad thing?
