Sure local, state, maybe someone(s) in Congress. What POTUS/POTUS candidate has proposed it in the past?
Like I thought. You have nothing.

I think we're also going to see a lot of Republicans who voted for trump in 2016 and 2020 who won't vote for him in 2024 but who aren't going to tell a pollster.
Whats that word for telling pollster’s one thing and doing the opposite? That will skew in Trump’s favor more than Harris. Because saying you won’t vote for Harris is racist and sexist. Remember in 2016 AND 2020 the polls underestimated Trump.

And before someone brings up 2022 about the polls overestimating conks, that was a midterm, completely different animal.

As far as what you mentioned voting for Trump 2016 and 2020, not in 2024 (some college educated whites), you’ll also find a lot of non college educated whites who voted Trump 2016, voted Biden in 2020 after falling for the Chu Chu train riding, ol Scranton Joe, just for the working class, the folks, return to normalcy during Covid shtick, and after that disaster will be voting for Trump again. A lot of non college educated, blue collar whites willing to vote for Biden, but not a San Fran lib female.

You're trying to argue that it's trump's original idea because he's the first POTUS candidate to bring it up while campaigning? Here you go again trying to limit the parameters of the discussion in order to make trump look better.

Is trump trying to help the little guy? I would guess that most workers collecting tips pay little to no income taxes anyway so this will help a small number of service staff. It could help hospitality owners such as trump by slowing efforts to raise the minimum wage for tipped workers.

2016 and 2020 voting were before January 6, fraudulent slates of electors, attempts to bully state officials into "finding" votes, obstructing the return of classified documents, etc. These things are going to be in the minds of Republicans who respect our system of law and order and they will impact how some of them vote.

I don't know how much but if it's enough to cost him the election he'll claim it was stolen and throw a temper tantrum like he always does when he doesn't get his way.

And is 2016 amd 2020 Trump was facing far stronger candidates in Clinton amd Biden. Trump is in FAR better shape than 2016 & 2020 vs a vi the national polls at the same time. Yeah, swing states is where it matters, but the easier conparison is national.
RCP polls national 5 way avg:
8/12/16: Clinton +6.3 (final result +2.1)
8/12/20: Biden +7.5 (final result +4.5)
8/12/24: Harris +0.4. (She would probably need to win the national by 4.5 to 5.0 to end up winning the EC).

Passing on Shapiro hasn't hurt her in PA and obviously not in MI - I was wondering how that was going to bounce. Still a long way to go but the way it looks right now Harris has many paths to 270 and Trump fell into a barrel full of titties and came out sucking his thumb

Nope. Harris has only one path to 270- that is winning WI, MI, PA, and NE2.

Now just wait until hairy armpits picks her VP for the pro Hamas ticket to draw the muslim and campus crazies vote.
