I think we're also going to see a lot of Republicans who voted for trump in 2016 and 2020 who won't vote for him in 2024 but who aren't going to tell a pollster.

Whats that word for telling pollster’s one thing and doing the opposite? That will skew in Trump’s favor more than Harris. Because saying you won’t vote for Harris is racist and sexist. Remember in 2016 AND 2020 the polls underestimated Trump.

As far as what you mentioned voting for Trump 2016 and 2020, not in 2024 (some college educated whites), you’ll also find a lot of non college educated whites who voted Trump 2016, voted Biden in 2020 after falling for the Chu Chu train riding, ol Scranton Joe, just for the working class, the folks, return to normalcy during Covid shtick, and after that disaster will be voting for Trump again. A lot of non college educated, blue collar whites willing to vote for Biden, but not a San Fran lib female.

You're trying to argue that it's trump's original idea because he's the first POTUS candidate to bring it up while campaigning? Here you go again trying to limit the parameters of the discussion in order to make trump look better.

Is trump trying to help the little guy? I would guess that most workers collecting tips pay little to no income taxes anyway so this will help a small number of service staff. It could help hospitality owners such as trump by slowing efforts to raise the minimum wage for tipped workers.
