Would CID say that "this is very typical of Russian disinformation"?

Are putin and russia trying to help trump? Or are they trying to sow division and hurt the USA over the long-term?

My guess is that they're more interested in the later. Occasionally helping trump might be a secondary impact but it isn't their priority.
