Agreed and it’s a huge branding problem especially in a short cycle. Infrastructure spending takes time to realize the benefits. And many are indirect in an economy as large as ours. And it’s not as if the R’s have any sort of track record on getting stuff done other than tax cuts on the wealthy and corporations.

Outlets like Politico or the NYT rarely offer critiques of either party when it comes to economic outcomes for the middle class. And why would they?

Remember…the Dem establishment hates progressives more than they hate R’s. Yet progressive economics remains the path for Dems to recover down. I’m not holding my breath.
