Trump says he will only accept the midterm results if Republicans win and again pushes to ‘nationalize’ voting

On Wednesday, Trump told NBC News’ Tom Llamas that he will only accept the results of the 2026 midterm elections if they are "honest," and that if he believes they aren't, then "something else has to happen."

He made the comment after Llamas asked him to clarify what he meant when he called to "nationalize" the elections. Under the U.S. Constitution, the states are given the right to oversee elections. The process has limited input from the federal government.

Anything that goes against trump is illegal, crooked, fixed, etc. Anything that helps trump is acceptable regardless of whether it's actually legal.

He can choose to accept or not accept whatever he wants. Luckily for all of us, he's not in the loop regarding the elections and how they are conducted. Silly Constitution and all.

This is Mr. Honesty and Mr. Integrity, who provoked an insurrection on January 6th, so that the election would be overturned. The idea that anyone would trust, for one minute, this guy running an honest election would be beyond comprehension. Not to mention that obviously he has not read the Constitution of the United States, which has states running elections, not the federal government.

You started by they need to "overlay the race by state map" and when kalm poked a hole in that balloon by pointing out that some of those states have a lot of racial diversity you shifted to black populations. This was probably your goal to begin with because you seem to want to argue that literacy rates are higher in those states with a due to larger black populations. That is correlation not causation. There are a variety of other factors such as poverty and investment in public education that are at least as if not more likely to impact literacy levels.
