Will this game be broadcasted on BIgskytv? And i think this will be a great game, the Jacks will probably be pumped up getting to the playoffs for the first time and looking to prove themselves. But the Griz are at home so i give them the edge in this one:

I doubt it will be on bigskytv. They show games for free and the NCAA doesn't live giving things away come playoff time.

They're making Weber travel... why not an east coast team out to Monty?
I've often wondered the same thing, but they set up as many bus trips as they can first, then deal with the remnants. There was an odd number of Western teams this year, with UNI screwing the pooch.

We need the RMAC to move to DI (and they would be better than the PL)
East Coast gets NEC and Big South next year to pick from as well. I can see it now:
NEC champ @ UNH
Big South champ @ W&M
PL champ @ Nova
It won't really change much for your western folks next year as the lower echilon teams will have to battle it out in the opening round. The round of 16 will end up very similar to what it is this year.

If that's the conference that the directional Oregons and Washingtons are in, then I agree.
Nope, the RMAC is centered around Colorado, with a couple of Nebraska and New Mexico schools thrown in for good measure:
Nebraska-Kearney
Colorado Mines
Chadron St.
Fort Lewis
Western St.
New Mexico Highlands
Mesa St.
Adams St.
Western New Mexico
Colorado St.-Pueblo
You might've been thinking about the Great Northwest, which includes Central Washington (and Western Washington, although they don't have football anymore). There are actually only 4 schools in the GNAC that play football:
Central Washington
Western Oregon
Dixie St.
Humboldt St.
Yes, I have too much time on my hands this morning .
Anyone else having trouble getting approved to even post on the SDSU site? I guess they don't have to approve someone, but that is pretty lame if they won't even let someone post there.

Hahaha hey I won't mind too much. Theres a few over there just being jackasses and can't seem to get over anything. They kinda make me wanna club a baby seal.

I harken back to a December 2006 2nd round playoff game against a MVFC juggernaut known as the SIU Salukis. They had a devastating halfback named Arkee Whitlock who had gained over 1800 yards and scored 25 TD's that year. SIU had outscored their opponents 448 to 256. They came into Wa/Griz having scored 47, 59, and 36 in their previous three games....statistics amassed against the "vaunted" MVC conference defenses.
Then they ran into Montana. 129 total yards, 5 TOTAL pass completions, 4 sacks, 7 first downs and 3 points later, they walked out of Wa/Griz with their heads hung low, defeated 20-3 by a Montana team that had "not faced a decent team all year".
You can spout all the statistics you want. When the only common opponent is Cal Poly, comparing statistics is meaningless.
I'll put the defenses in the BSC up against any in the MVC--despite what the meaningless statistics say.

True, but we'd have fewer "non-counters".

Just noticed. Montana under Hauck has lost their first round home games in 03, 05, 07, ??. Could Montana be due again?
Also, from the weird coincidence thing. I got to my desk this morning there was a call from Missoula Montana into my phone from a number I don't know at 2:39 yesterday. They didn't leave a message, just hung up.
I tried fighting back a bit but got too tired over on our site. Haven't been back since my last post yesterday. Thumper is right, there are 2 or 3 guys who have chosed to be quite dickish and dominate everything. Unfortunate..
AS for the game, I'd say it breaks down like this...
40% chance of a big win Montana
35% chance of a close win Montana
25% chance of a close win SDSU
I'd love to see my Jacks win but I think Montana breaks the odd year streak at home.
Any of you SDSU fellers gonna be at the game? Because I will be. And if I'm driving all the way there from Fargo, that's just about as far as Brookings.
Should be a good time.

Well, I guess they would be patsies. The RMAC isn't even good by Division II standards. Their 10-1 champion (UN-Kearney) only got the #4 seed (out of 6) in the midwest region. Their 8-3 second place team (CO Mines) didn't even get in the playoffs.
And no, the RMAC is not better than the Patriot League… not even close.
