They would be freezing their balls off. It is -5 degree's right now in Missoula with the windchill at -21 degrees.
That's cold for even us brave Montanans.

I've never heard of a football game being post-poned. I know it's not going to be that cold Saturday, but if it were tonight, wouldn't it be dangerous? Have any of you heard of any games ever being post-poned and at what point would it be to dangerous to play in the cold.
Weird things have happened at the Astrodome. The Oilers had a pre-season game unilaterally cancelled by the Chargers because the seams in the Astroturf were too dangerous to play on. And the Astros once had a game rained out because the parking lot flooded out.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

We've had below zero games in WaGriz before. I don't know when they would do it but I doubt it would happen till really cold.

-15 in Bozeman right now headed for -30, not much wind when I went out to feed my dog a few minutes ago so no big difference with wind chill at this time. According to the late news we're headed towards highs near 40 by early next week- gotta love living in Montana!!

I hope your dog's a husky if it's outside when it's -15.

Much better than that. 150 lb. Alaskan Malumute. I bring him in, but he's only good for 5 minutes max and he wants back out. He loves this weather.

I seem to remember watching a MNF game between the Giants and Packers (I think) last year where it was somewhere between -10 and -20.

That was the coldest game I have ever been to. I got up early in the morning and was on the other side of the continental divide where the temps were around 35. Drove over the pass to Missoula and didn't bring enough cold gear to the game. I think it was about 17 for that game.

pretty frigging cold when UMass won in WaGriz in '06....haey, I'm starting to see a pattern here...maybe the Griz should be worried about the cold weather when playing in WaGriz...

That was the game that convinced me to get my first ever pair of insulated boots. When the game ended I chiseled the frozen tears off my face and picked up a pair on my way out of town.
