Under 2 Weeks Now, What's Your Biggest Concern?

2 weeks left until kickoff, what's the biggest concern you have for your team?

I'm worried about our special teams...

Lack of proven depth at Running back...

Tony Nelson is #1 and should have a great year...but the guys behind him are unproven...

Anything negative with Nelson (injury, etc) could be real serious...

Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good about the team...

Wide reciever.

Defense, we haven't had one since 2005. If it improves 25% we will win more games than last year because the offense will be as good if not better.

Kicking. I have hear that it has been bad in practice. Field goals may not be an option.


Then the first four games. (actually games 2 thru 4)

Mars hill - not worried
Va Tech - certain loss
Colgate - - They are good this year and we usually screw up an away game early
Delaware - nuff said.

We could be 1-3 and the only thing that saves the season is a conference champsionship which is a long shot. Even 2-2, means we have to get through the SoCon with only 2 losses to make the playoffs and we have ASU, Elon and Wofford away.

The first four games are critical

Offense. We have had huge O Lines that have not lived up to their potential in pounding the ball. The way our coaches look at the games, if the Griz can't run the ball this year without Lex, the Griz are a crapshoot.

I'm worried about Cal Poly. Granted, we have THREE weeks to go (not two), but if we don't show well against the Stangs, we could be in for a long year....which, in GrizLand means 2-3 losses (unlike CatLand, where 5 losses has 'em dancin' in the streets and thumpin' their chests....).
