Montana - probably has always been my second-favorite FCS team - good fans, tradition, etc.
Wofford - classy team, good coach that does a lot with little, players always play their hearts out, good overall private school program
UNI - just because they are past due for a national championship
McNeese State - ditto

No sweat Hommie, I'm a fan of JMU too!
Have been a Villanova fan since I was 8 when my brother took me to my first Nova basketball game. Only time I will root against them is if they play JMU.
Starting to follow EWU and Montana, but haven't gotten to the point of rooting for one.

I can't say that I necessarily like other FCS teams, but I respect the hell out of a good number. Montana, first and foremost, and I would pull for UNI in the title game, if they weren't playing ASU.
I can't wait to chow down on some boudin while listening to "Jolie Blonde" when App makes the trip down to Lake Charles.
I can understand an App. St. fan wanting to chow down on some boudin but I don't know if you want to hear "Jolie Blonde" too much since it is what McNeese plays after touchdowns.
As far as other teams that I like, I tend to go with the teams we have played and whose fans the McNeese fans have had contact with, have had good times with, and with whom we have mutual respect.
And I can think of a lot of them. Montana, GSU, YSU, UNI, SDSU, Maine, and after this year, App St. I'm sure there are a few that I am forgetting. I tend to pull for all these teams to win except when they play McNeese.
Secret, nothing. Everyone knows my second FCS team is Liberty.
I also kinda liked Hofstra before they went belly-up because my old teammate Gio Carmazzi took them to the playoffs a couple of times. I also look kindly upon Weber since they gave my old teammate John Fassel a home; Bucknell was one of John-John's coaching stops, so I kinda like them, too.
But my top two are Sacred City and Liberty.
