BIG WIN FOR THE MINUTEMEN!!!!!!

#18 UMass defeated #6 Hofstra today 11 - 9 in the CAA opener for both teams...

Sophmore Art Kell scored three goals and had an assist in the win for the Minutemen at Garber Field in Amherst...

UMass is now 6 - 2 and faces 1-6 Penn State in their next match, which will be in State College on April 3rd...

I went to that game with Cobblepebble. Stony Brook has a very good team and is worthy of being in the top 25. Bryant hung tough with them and nearly pulled it out. Stony Brook won 8-7.

Lafayette Beat Bucknell and Navy who were both ranked at the time they played. We lost by one goal to top 15 Drexel and also beat Fairfield who is now ranked.

3 wins over top 20 teams.

In fact Lafayette's SOS in 29 and Delaware's is 39. So who is playing the weak schedule?

The 11-0 #2 ranked Maryland WLAX team out scored my #7 Tiger women 8-2 in the second half to win 12-10. Me thinks my Towson WLAXers are going to make some noise in the NCAAs this year with home field advantage.

I thought that league was the WFL.

I got to cling to something, don't I? We are going to my brothers house this Saturday, I might haul the family to The U to watch my girl Tigers beat up on some blue chickens before the party starts. He lives less than a minute from campus.

Albany picked up an 11-10 win over Hartford yesterday in the AEast opener. Maybe they'll turn it around and make it respectable.

The WLAX team is 7-1 at least.
