I never suggested voting out ALL incumbants. Gannon Fan makes the point all the time that people hate every congressman except theirs. I hate to say that I like all of mine too. I like one other and wasted my vote on him for president, the rest can move on for all I care.

Someone listened to Rush today. It's like reading what I heard on lunch. Rush is trying to paint the picture that Obama fiddled while the Gulf burned, errrr, filled with oil. So he can say off shore drilling is bad and we shouldn't do that anymore. That would make the enviro wacos happy and help his re-election chances.

I've clowned the guy a few times over the past few days, just click on any one of his "Talking Point" of the day email/conservative talk show threads (including this one). The guy just ignores logic. He's the political version of SuperHornet. I feel bad for the guy, it must suck to be unoriginal and rely on drug addicts for his information. I even gave the guy the opportunity to criticize Obama for his response yesterday, but the guy ignored it and had to wait for his messiah to say it was OK.

Today I changed my stance on offshore drilling until further measures are in place to make drilling wells safer. Until now I believed what I had read that a disaster like this was impossible. I also apologize to SCBH for saying he was a problem for protesting an off sore rig on the Sun Coast.

It really hit home today when I saw a satellite pic of the spill superimposed over the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, which is one of the areas where they want to start new drilling. A similar spill there would wipe out the largest estuary in the US, including the breeding grounds for the Chesapeake blue crab. I've never been much of an environmental activist, but I will now make it a point to oppose offshore drilling at every turn in the area. Don't fuck with my blue crabs, BP and Exxon.

Obama did do something, he banned all future oil drilling after promising he would allow "some" offshore drilling, just because of one accident, this accident gives him a reason to stop all drilling, and you know he's just rubbing his friggin hands together.
