I've heard a lot about being a winner & a leader, now this. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the same Whitney last year that was benched in the Penn game & lost his starting job & split time with Young in the N'Eastern & W&M games??
The fact that he shared time with young in the W&M and Northeastern games was by design.. Plus it isn't prudent to keep your starting quarterback in the game when you're leading 42-7 against a team entering the fourth quarter. The Penn game was an anomaly as they were either the best defense or the second best defense we played all season and our offensive line was getting absolutely no push the entire game, therefore AY went in. If we're going to talk about those games, why don't we talk about Devlin's three interceptions against Villanova, or his two against James Madison or having a dismal game against Richmond, where a simply average game would have made the difference between winning and losing (blocked field goal notwithstanding.) If you're going to talk about Whitney's poor performance in one or two games, I got you matched.
Also, the CAA coaches and Media sorta seem to agree with me, putting C-Dub on the All conference team.

Come on, man, you already proved you can't judge games you actually watch (that whole "single handidly" beat Temple beauty) so what makes you think you're any better at games you don't watch? You complain about Whitney having trouble with Penn's defense and not being given enough support, but ignore the fact that Devlin played behind a vastly inferior offensive line, had no running game behind him all year, and didn't have the receivers Whitney had. Plus he didn't have someone else like Szscur to take the snaps and make the real big plays. Face it, there's no getting around the fact that Whitney was maybe one of the most inconsequential pieces on nova's team last year - he was Trent Dilfer. You still get a ring for going along with the ride that the team took him on, so that's nice, but in the end other people were more important.

If people were to audit me, they would fail to recognize me as a lawyer, and only as a laughing fool. I'm supposed to conduct exit interviews tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
