A valid point I didn't think about that was brought up on eGriztards of all places, is that it'll probably darken a shade or two with the black rubber pellet infill, so it might end up being a nice blood red. Either way, I fucking love it. The black around the field is going to look sick.

One other thing that will be interesting to see is how the field looks on foot drags and so forth bringing the pellets up. You can see it on Green but the Red is whole nother animal as far as contrast.

Should be able to see it even better, I would think. Hopefully it will allow the BSC refs to get more than 2 calls a game correct.

That's what I'm saying. I hope it doesn't detract from the field if it is real visible.
Fuck-o-dear that's horrid. I was hoping it'd be kinda cool, but wow that sucks. I've played on Boise State's for a camp and it wasn't that bad in person, but EWU's will be horrid.

Boy that is terrible. Both the parking lot it is in and the color. That is horrid.

Okay, I take back my "that isn't as "terrible as I thought it would be". The more that gets laid down the more annoying I find it.
Maybe I'm a "purist" but I barely like colored endzones...let alone the ENTIRE field.
I know EWU fans are going to like it, it is their field I expect them to support it. I, and i know my opinion isn't worth the shit I'm about to take, don't like it.

had ewu not gotten the red turf would there have been any other upgrade in its replacement such as seating expansion? just wondering...
i cant wait to see ewu play on it!! is the ewu/um game on altitude?
We would have gotten turf no matter what. Our field is impossible to play on past October. The turf also gives TJ an extra 2 ypc on average, and allows for the team to practice later in the day (lights in the stadium) as the days grow shorter.
The game should be on Big Sky TV for sure, but I think there's a good chance one of the ESPN networks will pick it up.
I still believe Montana will win by 10+...along with the rest of their games...all season. I just have a feeling. I thought our team would be mediocre the past 2 seasons and they proved me the hell wrong.

Why is this taking so long to get done? We had ours torn up and redone in less than 2 weeks? Was it grass before and they had to do understructure? Sorry, haven't really been following along.
