Probably not surprising news to the ASU faithful, but from the snippets we've received during the summer it sounded like this was a pretty close call for starter.
I'm not sure I'm loving this based on past performance, but he's the most experienced of the bunch at this point. Sounds like Jamal Jackson, the redshirt freshman who was challenging for starter, is now fighting to maintain #2 vs. true freshman Barnes.
I don't think at this point AE's shoes will be filled completely, but it's good to know we have some depth at QB.
