I will say this though. The Va. Tech game was all about Karma from ASU '07.
First, that was the year ASU beat Michigan. Second, Sullivan redeemed himself from that fumble with the 77 yd. TD. Finally, and most importantly, when Tech was driving in the red zone with about five minutes left to go, I swear I told myself, "Man, it would be nice if we could get an App. State-esque fumble here." Then Stephon Robertson stepped up.
Horse collar...I think this cost us 15 yards, I know we were called for one
If that was called a horse collar you got f'ed in the a.
You can grab the jersey, you can't grab inside the pads...unless the rule is different in college.
Shoudln't matter anyway, he is holding the jersey sleeve not the neck.
That's why I'm not sure if that's the one we got called for.
From where I was sitting (granted far away) the one that was called looked legit. But, it was while tackling No. 7 and there weren't too many other tackles like that on him. I'm going to try and find who the horse collar was called on.
After further review, that is not the horse collar call...I think that's the last play of the first quarter at around the JMU 9 when Stephon Robertson is credited with tackling Hayes. The horse collar, I think, was on Vidal Nelson.
are you really talking about nobody in the stand??? the same team that everyyear get more griz fans at the game than EWU fans.....except when a new bloody turf rolls out. how was the beat down MSU gave you last week? EWU will lose atleast one more time. and if the griz hold onto the ball the griz will beat the cats in the brawl.

Thanks for the props man. This was definitely one of the top 5 pictures I've ever taken. Despite it being against "my" team, it was just too good not to share.
1) Go ahead score late in the game
2) 4th down (yard marker in shot)
3) Incredible athletic play (even for Armanti)
4) Got a picture of a SoCon ref actually paying attention
5) In focus - lol

The horse collar tackle was legit. when a guy is runnin down the field and his feat end up in front of him at head level something went wrong. the Liberty section was about ready to fight when they saw that happen.

Did you not see me say that the one that was called looked legit? And for the record, just because somebody's feet (no "a") end up in front if him while he's running down field doesn't mean he was horse collared. There are about five hundred different ways that could happen without a horse collar.
And why was Liberty so ticked? They got 15 yards out of it. In fact, JMU's mistakes were your second best player, our penalties got you more yards than any receiver or any rusher and we were only outgained by Mike Brown's total yards (passing yards really).
Note: before KBM gets his panties in a wad, the penalties are not why it was close. Liberty played a great game. Congrats to the Flames. Here's to another Big South title. Etc.
