So's the Big Sky. But then again, we didn't have 4 to start out with.
It would have really been better if MSU had just done us all a favor and lost to the Griz so we'd have three teams in and a least increase our odds a bit.

Yeah. MSU screwed all of us the same way Nevada screwed the WAC.

Looks as if the CAA could be down to only one team after next weekend. Out of 20 teams, only one will be left.
There can only be one.
East Coast math tells us the CAA can't have any less than 1 team after next weeks games, but could have two. 2 out of 4 wont be bad. 1 out of 4 wouldn't be bad either.

Hmm, let's see. We've got Southern vs. CAA, Big Sky vs. MVC, CAA vs. CAA, and Southern vs. Southern.
The best you can do is EXACTLY two. And you're likely to get ONE.
IMO, that one will be Delaware. But who knows? That's why they actually play the games.

Oh, that was just an excuse to post that dumb movie poster....

Oh, we all know that this year was an anomaly for the Griz. Barring a breakout season for the Sacred City, we'll be looking at the Griz in the Chipper again.
No worries!

WTF is this thread about? The CAA went 3-1 yesteday. Seems the only conference that is in any position to crow is the SoCon. If I'm the Big Sky, I don't think I'm talking much. If EWU doesn't beat NDSU this will make what, the 13th year in a row that a non-Montana BSC team didn't make it to the semis.

BITTER HAS BEEN! That is my role in this thread, that and after next weekend, unless Villanova wins, the CAA is down to one team.

Or if Nova wins, then there's a really good chance that it's an all-CAA final...
Hmm, maybe we can petition the NCAA to move the game to Newark (or Hofstra, if it's Nova v. UNH)...

Looks like you're not paying attention. He's talking about what he thinks is likely to happen NEXT week. CAA is guaranteed to lose one team next week because two are playing each other and ties have always been impossible in the playoffs. There's a VERY good chace that you'll lose TWO next week, too, which leaves you with ONE.
Sure the title is misleading (should have read "Mighty CAA COULD BE down to one team NEXT WEEK"), but a simple reading of the text instead of ignoring it SHOULD have sufficed.

It's amazing to me that the only remaining MVFC team, is one that went 4-4 in the MVFC, and was tied with 6 other teams for 3rd in MVFC. AQ gone in 1st round, at home. WIU at least made it to Boone prior to getting knocked out. IF NDSU wins, and Nova wins, will NOVA be visiting Fargo?
Of course, App St won't loss so won't be an issue.

I would fully expect NDSU to outbid nova for that game should it happen and that it would be in Fargo. Of course, NDSU could also then be the first home semifinalist team to be a double digit home dog in that game.
