SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

TXST defeats SUU 9-0, will play Hawaii next. Hawaii is also 2-0 at this point.

UH run ruled both SUU and UCD. They are pre-season ranked 8/13 in differing polls
