2012 NFL Prospects
I have seen the reviews for the 2011 prospects. Now who do you think are the 2012 NFL Draftees, UFA's, and tryouts. I think there is alot of talent in the upcoming senior class for next season.

Realistically, just one for UD: OL Gino Gradkowski - NFL QB Bruce's little brother.

You can probably put the whole NDSU class of '12 on the radar as well.

QB Killa #98 Renard Williams.
I may be wrong, but perhaps outside shots would be the Johnson twins, SS Matt and LB Zach.

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
Trumaine Johnson (CB) has been touted as Montana's best pro prospect ever since he set foot on campus. Jon Opperud on the O-line might have a shot if he stays healthy (he struggled with knee problems last year).

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
If Trumaine Johnson stays healthy, and keep his grades up, he is no worse than a 4th round pick. I will not be surprised to see him in the 1st 2 rounds next season. He more complete than Joey Thomas was, but not as fast. Thomas was an early selection.

JC Orms OG Weber State -
Renard William NT - EWU - beast.
DeShawn Shead SS PSU - This guy is very underrated big, very fast and can cover. Played corner last year but rarely got thrown at.
David Ross CB PSU - Oregon State transfer may get a look as a 7th round free agent type player. Very solid.
Trumaine Johnson DB Griz

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
Well the season hasn't started yet and there is a lot that could change but two guys from Poly that I think could be NFL prospects....
CB Asa Jackson
probably the most skilled defender on the team and maybe the fastest guy on the team as well. He worked out at Pro Day last month and posted some ridiculous time in the 40....4.35ish
RB Mark Rodgers
Was all Great West last year, elusive and quick, Poly will have the best running game that they have had since 2008 and this guy will likely lead the stampede.
Both have some nice highlights in this clip from the Fresno State Game. Asa Jackson is #2 and Rodgers in #1. Check out the Rodgers run at about the 2:50 mark.

A few others could emerge this year..but those are my two best bets

Maybe, but I don't think he has the size. Especially if the roster is correct; 6'2, 270.kalm wrote:Chris Powers perhaps?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:QB Killa #98 Renard Williams.

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
There is a guy from my home state(NJ) that is among the top 30 with a chance to play on sunday Marshall DE Vincent Curry and the draft has him going to the NY JETS.Another name that should be mentioned if his health issues are no longer a problem is Grambling DE Christian Anthony.syncerepapi wrote:I have seen the reviews for the 2011 prospects. Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
Kavario Middleton from Montana is another one to watch. #3 TE recruit in the nation coming in, he has the physical tools, just hasn't put it together on the field (or mentally...) yet. Judging by the spring he had, he could produce a monster season in 2011.

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
RB Mike Harris from Murray State. He was a Top 100 guy out of HS who failed to qualify and slipped through the cracks. Outstanding back with speed and power. His stock will soar this season after he averaged 100+ ypg rushing when he finally worked back into shape and got in the starting lineup for the last 2/3 of the season for the Racers.

NDSU DJ Mcnorton and DE Colton Boyer 6 4 260 DE are sure fire picks late.
Preston Evans and Matt Veldman 6 7 255 for his size alone at TE (and his dad played in nfl) have a shot as well.

Re: 2012 NFL Prospects
McNorton and Veldman are considered free agent types right now. Evans is a CFL guy and Boyer is a great player but stiff so I doubt he gets more than a free agent look.lakesbison wrote:NDSU DJ Mcnorton and DE Colton Boyer 6 4 260 DE are sure fire picks late.
