It sucks though for the A-Sun as Belmont was an athletic and academic powerhouse. Also it puts the A-Sun at a crossroads. This is where being a non-football conference sucks.

Adios
Belmont - Gone on July 1st.
Campbell - Gone after next season.

Football
Jacksonville - Playing in Pioneer League.
Mercer - Starting football in 2013. Going to Pioneer League.
Kennesaw State - Starting football in 2014. No conference yet.
Stetson - Starting football in 2013. Going to Pioneer League.

In-Between
ETSU - Could restart football after current president retires and bolt.

Non-Football
Florida Gulf-Coast - Not pursuing football.
Libscomb - Losing in-city rival Belmont. Not pursuing football.
North Florida- Not pursing football, but might change.
USC-Upstate - Just joined, not pursuing football.

The Big South will be at 11 full-time and 7 football (6 of those also full members plus Stony Brook) after Campbell joins in all sports but football. Much like the OVC, Big Ten, SoCon, etc, I don't seem them staying at 11 for long.
