FU at the Citadel will be a close one. We don't play well there and they hate our guts more than we hate theirs unless Fowler can gin up some old fashion FU Citadel hatred.

Mars Hill at Western Carolina - Cats better win this one.

Furman at The Citadel - Improved Citadel wins at home.

Wofford at Clemson - Ankle-biters have a bad day.

Tusculum at Georgia Southern - Still don't understand this scheduling. Eagles win by as much as they want.

Concord at Elon - Don't understand this scheduling either. Elon breezes.

NC A&T at Appalachian State - Suddenly an important game for Apps after beat-down in Blacksburg. Hopefully Apps dominate or it's gonna be a long, long season with alcohol sales in Watauga County hitting an all time high.

Jacksonville State at Chattanooga - Still think UTC is the real deal and they get a little payback at Findley.

Stillman at Samford - Again questionable scheduling. Sammy played tough against GaSo so Stillman should be a walk.

App desperately needs these two weeks of what are believed to be lower caliber teams (we'll see). We definitely need to tune up both sides of the ball before we hit the SoCon schedule wide open.

As usual, GSU's AD got caught with his trousers around his ankles when in late spring CCU backed out of a return game from last year, obstensively to schedule a FBS and get a sixth home game. According to the GSU AD Tusculum was the only team available to travel to Paulson that week which gives GSU a d-2 and an SEC team on the schedule and therefore no margin for error in the other 8 remaining games.

I can see a home team sweep this week although Furman and JSU have legitimate shots at road wins.
