Well, I guess technically it could be called inspiring. Then again you can count the wins they have in the last 3 years probably on one hand...

why do I want to believe Towson has a chance of beating Villanova?

Not a knock against Towson but common sense would say Villanova but I wouldn't be surprised if Towson won this game.

If anything, a Towson win would be great for the CAA. Would truly show the competitiveness of the conference from top to bottom.

If I were betting real money it would be on Nova. But to treat this team like the 09 and 10 teams is ridiculous. This SAME team lost to Morgan State two years ago. Those true freshamn, RS freshamn and sophomores are all 2-3 year starters now. True they were playing against different players, but still.

I'm really looking forward to next week. !- to see where we are in the CAA, and 2- to see if Nova is really that shitty.

I've said this before, but..

It's exactly like ODU, only we've been getting our asses handed to us these last 2 years in CAA play. It'll be interesting to see whether weak or strong scheduling is more benificial for a new/rebuilding program

All I know about him is he is a JC transfer who showed up for summer camp and won the job. And that he has 3 years of elligibility.
The playbook was pretty vanilla and due to the lead, we pretty much just ran the ball after the start of the 3rd quarter.
He appeared comfortable in the pocket and didn't force the ball down field, except once. He checked down and took what they gave him. He showed speed on his touchdown run too.
We'll find out more against Villanove this weekend.
