I wouldn't count on that lot that is labelled weather permitting being open tomorrow. At the same time, you most likely wouldn't want to as it would be a mud pit. It started raining here around 9am this morning, coming down pretty good right now & they're calling for a total of 3+ inches of rain this weekend.
You're better off parking in the paved lot in front of the ice arena.

I like these statements:
Kickoff can't happen soon enough. We're gonna demolish the Hens.ODU is 20-5 since starting football and has everything in place to be a CAA powerhouse, as it is in many other sports. They may just be starting out in CAA football when they visit UD Saturday, but are already ahead of the game and, in some cases, ahead of the Hens.

Getting back to X's & O's, i'm glad to see that ODU's best DL, Cameron is a DT. UD's strength of their OL is the middle, which would most likely be matched up with handling Cameron. Watch #56 Gradkowski, he's a mean sumbitch that will be joining his brother playing on Sundays next year.∞∞∞ wrote: I like our O-line over you D-Line. I like your O-line over our D-Line. Even W&M was surprised by our o-line last season and gave up 130 yards of rushing to a primarily throwing team. This team is not only a year wiser, but they're also bigger and faster...I'm not worried about our offense regardless of weather.
I am worried about our defense though, but I'm worried about them every game.

I think there are gonna be a ton of NFL scouts at the game tomorrow to watch that particular match-up. Cameron has dominated the first three games of the season but it was clearly against inferior opponents so we'll see just how good Cameron is and it will give him a chance to impress the scouts. Out of all the match-ups in this game thats the one I'll be watching the most. Also, who does Gradkowski's brother play for?bluehenbillk wrote:Getting back to X's & O's, i'm glad to see that ODU's best DL, Cameron is a DT. Oh okay, I remember seeing him getting some playing time in last week's game correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't he also play for the Pats? I might be thinking of someone else with a familiar name....Rob Iola wrote:Brother Bruce is a QB on the Bengals.ODUalum11 wrote:

Your writer missed that Ronald Talley is also playing in the NFL for Arizona.

Re: Old Dominion at Delaware
Meh. I'm not sold on the fact that the current NFL players are the best football players in the land. The top half of each roster? Sure. The bottom half can be interchanged with several hundred other players. It's just a matter of being in the right camp at the right time.
Baseball on the other hand has a system (Minors - Rookie, Low A, High A, AA, AAA) that players have to fight through to get to the Major League. There's a higher percentage of the "best" on a MLB roster, IMHO.
BEAT THE HENS!!!!!

If three inches of rain are expected, our boys better wear some waterproof cleats.
Considering the entire state of Delaware is nothing more than a landfill for New Jersey, I'd hate to see our boys get some strange third-world disease from the filth percolating upwards from the infinite amount of garbage beneath them.
