Well, they kind of woke up. But I heard Chris Landry predict something like what happened on a local radio show Friday. He said it's a lot easier to get a team's attention after a loss in a game like that LSU/Alabama game than it is if you win, Said they're going to be physically beat up and mentally flat. Said he'd be satisified with a win of around 10 points.

Beyond that, as I've typed in other threads, I think LSU is a vulnerable team. I think they're capable of beating anybody because they've got great athletes, great defense, and great special teams. But even though they have a high points per game average I don't think their offense is that great. I think it's possible for a mediocre defense to hold them down and keep the game close.

Hopefully it won't happen because LSU is my favorite FBS team. It's the school my kids went to and also there's a Louisiana pride element in that a substantial majority of its players played high school football in Louisiana. But they are ranked 79th among 120 FBS teams in total offense. I think it's possible for lesser teams to stay in the game with them and hope for some breaks to put them over the top.
