49ers go into Lambeau and push around the Packers. I know they only won by 8, but it wasn't really that close. I love that a smashmouth team won a national game against a finesse team. Just goes to show that this "the NFL is a QB league" nonsense is only applicable if all you have is a QB. Mad props to the 49ers. I love Jim Habaugh's style, attitude, and coaching acumen. :notworthy:

Cardinals overcome horrendous calls by replacement refs, win over the Seahags
LMAO at least we have a future unlike the Cards. Have fun with Skelton and Kolb for the rest of the year! :kisswink:

What future? Your special teams that kept you in the game? Or will you be carrying those refs around to every game?

Let's see now.

Eventually Wilson will be >>> Kolb, Skelton
Our O-line >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cards O-line
Our D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cards D
And finally, Lynch and Turbin curb stomp anything the Cards throw out there.

And the real scary thing is, both the O-line and most of the defense is young! So about that future... :kisswink:

Wilson is not going to be that good. Sorry
Oline - agree
Our D is much better than the Seahawk D

You guys have nothing to worry about this year. 49ers will win the division and the wildcards will be from other divisions. :thumb:

Wouldn't say that, but they've gotta be the prohibitive favorites to win it. Very good team all around.

They are the favorites. The only people that doubt that are fans of the Seahawks that can't/wont admit it. :coffee:

Favorites of the media. Then again, media was all over Philly's jock last year too. :coffee:

Plus they won the division last year and still have a great defense. Not to mention the fact that Seattle is going to start the season 0-2. :coffee:

NFC West is an NFL best 5-1 in games outside the division right now. All week 2 opponents had won in week 1, and all on the road.

Be prepared for a physical game when you play Seattle. It was no coincidence that the sure handed Witten dropped 3 or 4 balls... he knew what was coming when he turned around.

I am shocked by the AZ win.

SF looks scary good though. I could see them taking it all pretty easily.

Being a tough, hard-hitting football player making a legal tackle is considered dirty now? :ohno:

You're right, Tate should've just stood there and tried to wrap up Lee with a bear hug while getting trucked over.

Finesse teams passing teams will have a hard time beating physical defensive minded, run oriented teams like SF, SEA, and AZ. SF might win the division, but I don't think they'll do it easily. AZ beat them in the 2nd game last year, and SEA would have had we not had TJack at QB. Much like the SEA/AZ game, the division games this year are going to be some entertaining, low scoring slug fests.

Actually, that hit is the definition of what defenders are being cracked the fuck down on right now. Launching, leading with the helmet, "defenseless" player....If James Harrison did that he'd be suspended for 9 games by now.... :coffee:

He's not a defenseless player... he's running toward Tate in effort to tackle the ball carrier. Tate was within full right to block him. He didn't hit him in the head or facemask. It was just as legal as this hit on Seattle punter Jon Ryan on a Devin Hester return (forget if it was a TD or not) in 2010. It wasn't flagged, as it shouldn't be.

It was a vicious hit, but completely legal.

:dunce:

Launching with the helmet to the chest vs leading with the shoulder to the chest. Two different tackles. Had the one by Tate been against the Seahawks you would be furious. :coffee:
