Cats haven't played great so far.

However, Bobcat Stadium will be rocking next saturday. A record crowd is expected. Our front 7 is looking tough, which will make Eastern one dimensional. This one will be a shootout, with the advantage going to the more experienced team at home. Cats in a barn burner. Looking forward to a great game!

Again, I think the key will be seeing if Eastern can D up Montana State. I'm pretty sure Eastern is good for a few points. Eastern has enough dimensions that you really can't expect an opposing defense to shut it down with regularity at this level. The O is much improved over last year's pass only style.

But they'll get stopped a few times, probably a lot in the 3rd quarter as is normally the case. I'm still not confident the Eagle D is all that great. UND simply seemed to have zero gameplan; I mean, they looked dominant on the first drive and then completely abandoned the read-option which has proven the winning ticket against Eastern.

I always joke because McGhee has beaten EWU twice, but never with his arm. He just runs a good lateral offense, and that has been the bane of EWU's existence. Even when Eastern is full strength, it's been a shortcoming.

If this game was in Cheney, and Eastern got some new blood healthy, I'd probably say Eastern's edge in speed and homefield would be the difference. As of now, no one knows if Eastern is getting guys back and Bozeman is a difficult place to play. I'd give the edge to Montana State. It *could* go either way, but I think any intellgient observer would look at this as an advantage-MSU kind of game.

Pretty much this. However, the defense does seem to have a knack for creating some TO's this season, unlike last. Also, MSU's O-Line isn't great and Pulu is a handful so I think we can potentially create some disruption in the backfield. Our Lb's need to come to play in this one. I do like our offense and special teams and do think we can get some points on the board.

All in all MSU will probably be the toughest team EWU will have faced thus far and really vice versa. I'm not convinced SFA is a better team than Eastern and Montana, Wazzu, and Idaho probably aren't better than MSU. But Eastern has definitely has the tougher schedule thus far and that could work in their favor. Davis is probably the toughest opponent MSU has played and they didn't look stellar in that game.

Depends on which MSU team shows up. Is it the one that gives up 41 to UCD and squeeked by Drake, or is it the number 2 team in the country that everyone keeps telling us is good? Shouldn't a number 2 team in the country show it every once in awhile? The only game they looked like they might be the number 2 team was that Chadron State game, but they should have considering that it was FCS v. DII.

With the way EWU is playing, I have to give the nod to them.

Game's probably a wash and realistically could go a few different ways. MSU probably has the advantage at home, but I think we have a talented enough team to win on the road as well. I think the offense is starting to click more and if the defense can bend but not break enough to get a couple stops, who knows?

No, it's just dumb. So when Chadron scored 35 on us in 2006 and won, your conclusion would have been that every other team would have been able to score 100. We also beat Colorado that year. Could Chadron beat Colorado? Doubtful. I will guarantee you EWU doesn't score more than what Davis did.

This game is very hard to pick. I am comforted that the Eagles were somewhat lucky (onside kick recovery) to pull out a victory over the young and mistake prone Griz. I agree that they seem to be putting things together now and may win by 14. But the Cats are capable of putting it together also. If they stay focused and cut out the turnovers they could win big also.

This will be a great game to watch and my DVR will have it waiting for me to watch on Sunday.

I love how when the Griz beat EWU in a close game in Missoula that's decided by a play or two, the Griz are better, and find ways to win, yet when EWU beats the Griz in a close game, we got lucky.
