I pretty much quit watching basketball when they went to wearing baggy capris.

I agree there shouldn't be "short" shorts ala the 1970s and earlier that only went to upper or mid thigh. Basketball evolved from that to normal loose shorts that go to lower thigh the knee. Then it evolved in the last 15-20 years to going down to your calves, which aren't shorts. More like baggy capris.
