I think UNI is clearly the favorite. Here are some comments by a Texas High School Football coach who frequents the McNeese message board:
I found this when looking up UNI's Dome . In 2010, North Dakota State made their first trip to the UNI Dome. They lost 16-9, but the experience was much worst than that. In the article, it was stated by the NDST coaches that it was the worst performance by their offensive line in recent memory. The players said they could not hear anything, thus they set a school record by giving up 11 sacks. It is still a UNI record. Coach Viator says he has never been there,so it will be an experience by all involved.
I think UNI has a tremendous home field advantage in this game. It'd be tough enough to beat them on a neutral field. I am hoping McNeese can find a way to win. But I realize the odds are strongly against the Cowboys. If they do win it'd be huge for their playoff hopes. They won't be up against a team that good in an environment that tough again during the regular season.

Pisses me off that being responsible dictates that I not go. I won't say having a son in law school sucks but it does force hard financial choices.

Football Game Plan, whatever that is, has McNeese at UNI as "game of the week." I don't agree with the prediction at the end. If I were betting straight up I'd bet the other way. But still interesting to watch:

This game pits the schools of two of my favorite posters on this forum...Clenz and JohnStOnge.
Let's hope for a great and injury-free game. I possess some gawd-awful purple UNI shirt that I allow my dog to occasionally hump, so I guess I will root for UNI, although politically, both school's representatives are largely on the right side (no pun intended) of most issues.
Good luck!

I hope you're right. The Cowboys won't be able to hear a thing on offense though. They're going to have to work out a visual system. At least that'll be the case unless and until they can take the crowd out of the game some. It's going to be really tough. If they win this they will have really accomplished something.
