Got my vote in early this morning here in Virginia. Polling place opened at 6am and I was back in my car at 6:10am. There was a guy in a "volunteer" shirt outside handing out "sample ballots". I looked at the ballot and it had all the republican candidates in bold with their bubble filled in and all the dems and others in faint text that could barely be seen.

This was my first time voting in VA and it was weird to have to fill in bubbles on a scan sheet. I'm used to Delaware having a voting booth with a touchscreen.

Anywho, I voted all Republican this time. Terry McAuliffe is such a tool and the Dems need to feel the wrath of Obamacare. I'm sure Cuccinelli will lose anyway as McAsshole has outspent him 10-1 on TV ads, but I did my part.

BTW, I'm in the 13th district and Rob Marshall, one of the longtime cornerstones of VA Republicans and conservatives, was in a fierce fight for his political career against a newcomer. It'll be interesting to see if he's ousted after serving for two decades.

Two decades is too long for any politician. I think US Senators should be capped at two terms (12 years) and US Representatives at four (8 years) with no crossing over. States should follow suit for their legislatures. Why do we limit the President to two terms but not these money-grubbing, lobbyist ball-lickers?

It looks like Rob Marshall will win again. The man's voting record isn't even consistent with his constituents' views anymore; he's just another politician whose head is too deep into his party's ass. But hey, if the man is what the citizens of the 13th district want, then so be it.
