Watching this hurts. The amount of faking shit is unbelievable. Then they roll around on the ground until they notice that the ball is long gone and they didn't get the call...they pop right back up and act like nothing happened.

You really think the amount of flopping in one NFL game is equal to or greater than one soccer game?

How many soccer games to you usually watch in a year? 1/2 of a game if it's a World Cup year?

I mean... you spent most of the first half trying to figure out which team is the US. :jack:

Fundamentally sound, but we're not possessing the ball enough to set it up properly

I have watched this whole game, minus the first 7 minutes or so. I also caught half of a game on Sunday and half of a game on Saturday, maybe it was Friday. Either way, the amount of falling down and hoping for a foul is second only to the NBA, which I also am an expert on. I watched 5 whole games and parts of another 5 or 6 this year.

There is something magical about US Soccer.

That said, we can't play well in first and last five minutes of the game and skip the middle eighty. That'll kill us against Portugal and Germany.

Glad we got the win though. :thumb:

Put it on the board! Yes! 3 points for the US, first step to advancing is complete!

if we can tie Portugal and don't lose to Germany by more than 4 goals we'll make it the knockout stage. (Hell, without Pepe, we might have a shot at knocking off the fighting Ronaldos.)

I will never understand why Michael Bradley is on the team. How many turnovers did he have? How many tackles against? He is the anti-Pirlo.
