7. Drop time for the 49ers, who haven't experienced many positive vibes of late. The Jim Harbaugh situation was a small distraction. Most of the preseason was a disaster. Maybe my wording is a bit strong, but watching San Francisco play in the first three weeks of the preseason, my feeling about the team fell somewhere between "dwindling confidence" and "oh-my-gosh-are-the-Niners-going-7-9?". Let's try not to panic. Try.
It is amazing that SF lost that game. Chicago lost 5 starters on defense and SF's offense only scored 3 on them in the second half (at home no less)?! Completely inexcusable!
Huge game next week between the Cards and 49ers. If the cards go 3-0, they could start gathering confidence that they may actually win the division. We can't have that happen! I can't believe I'm going to be a 49er fan next week.

Yes, back to 2011 is a long while in NFL talk. And I think the 9ers shit the bed this season.
And the Chargers are going to run through the NFC West like Mexican tap water through a gringo tourist.
Rivers and crew are going to be destroyed by both SEA and STL's D.
Whoops. The Chargers punched Seattle in the mouth and they just weren't ready for it.
Looks like the Chargers will have to settle for 3-1 against the NFC West. Should have won last week too.
I know a lot of band wagon 9er fans and it was entertaining listening to them bad mouth Rivers leading up to this game. Guess he isn't as bad as they all thought.
So...about Sherman. He really showed his colors post game.

Yeah, I'll eat my crow. Chargers surprised me... one could say I was shocked.
Rivers did a great job of taking what the Seattle D gave him. I think the key to the game was the pressure and containment the Chargers' DL got on Russell Wilson (SEA OL's pass-pro sucks), which definitely affected Seattle's offense throughout the game, leaving SEA's defense on the field for way too long in that heat.
Tip of the cap to San Diego... they needed that win, and it stoked Seattle's fire, so thanks.

Not quite sure what you're talking about, other than his replies to Charger players' claims that Sherman was "exposed."
He is the first person to talk shit and make a big scene, and when he gets shown up or his team loses he doesn't talk to reporters and post some crybaby shit on Twitter.
He really is a fucking tool.

This. Sack up and face the media. No doubt he would have given everyone an earful via the media if he made some game saving play.

If the Cards go into Denver in two weeks and beat the Broncos, I'll take back everything bad I said about the Cardinals this year. That would be a monstrous win.
