I don't know, but even if EWU were preseason BSC champ favorites (they weren't) and Indiana was picked to finish in the cellar (they weren't) it would still be a big win.grizzaholic wrote:Is Indiana down this year or has EWU picked up some dropdowns?SDHornet wrote: Amazing win for EWU and the BSC.

EWU wasn't picked first? I would have bet a beer and a buck on that. I was out coyote hunting earlier this month and one of my buddies said, I could have sworn, that EWU was picked first in the BSC.SDHornet wrote:I don't know, but even if EWU were preseason BSC champ favorites (they weren't) and Indiana was picked to finish in the cellar (they weren't) it would still be a big win.grizzaholic wrote:

Re: Big Sky Basketball Thread - 2014-15
Hornets beat UVU 65-56. Hornets (4-1) had a 10 point cushion for most of the night and some bad turnovers and poor FT shooting let UVU close the gap a bit at the end, otherwise it was a comfortable win (would have been a 15-20 point win had the Hornets took care of the ball and made FTs). Hornsby had a huge night with 20 pts (8/8 from the floor, 2/2 from downtown, 2/3 FT), 5 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks.

Hornets chalk up an embarrassing loss 72-61 against a bad Abilene Christian on the road. The Hornets are typically a poor road team and it looks like that won't change this year.

No drop downs, most of the team is international from Australia or Germany. As for Indiana, they're picked in the lower half of the Big 10, but they did beat #22 SMU.grizzaholic wrote:Is Indiana down this year or has EWU picked up some dropdowns?SDHornet wrote: Amazing win for EWU and the BSC.
