I was at last year's game. It was maddening at times. Ultimately though, the loss didn't matter much. Eastern still got to the playoffs and likely would have been on the road even if they had beaten Montana. See, the loss to Weber is the one Eagle fans should really be mad about. Our team sleep-walked through four quarters at home. It was ugly. Had Montana lost to Eastern last year, but won the chipper, what right-minded Griz fan would come on here and bitch about losing one game even if officiating were the sole reason? There are plenty of sensible Griz and Eagle fans out there. I pray more of us show up. For the rest of you: Grow up.

Last year I had several discussions on here with Weber fans telling them that I would trade the BSC title every time for a SHOT at being a national title contender. Most Griz fans are glad when we win the BSC title but only because that gets you on the national stage.

1. thats a tough stretch to open the season.
2. When UM comes to Cheney, theres always a bunch of hype & excitment, but Ive never seen UM lose at Woodward.. Having said that you must understand that (people get tired of hearing this but its true so I'll say it one last time) the RED turf is going to add to the hype, create additional fan support and most likely increased attendance & that creates a better HFA for EWU. All this (IMHO) will add up to UM catching an L at Woodward & unassing control of that BSC title in 2010.
