In my limited time here I've witnessed that most posters here respect others' schools, football programs, and fans, that folks here can tell good natured jibes from meanspirited ones, and, furthermore, that veteran posters here develop friendships not limited by school ties. Generally, there is a healthy banter here that doesn't lead fans of any school to feel they need to "circle the wagons". Hope it will be that way for you, too. It was YOUR practice...as was your willingness to go out of your way to attack anyone....battle of "wits" you are always desperately looking for. Aw Bangy, trying to stand up for me - I'm so touched.

As for the Col, you just seem to have a tin ear when it comes to message boards - I have no issue with the Col and neither does he have one with me - we've interacted quite regularly on this and other message boards, as many veterans here have done. Sometimes it's best to just wade into the message board pool slowly until you get the gist of things - you didn't do that on GoHens as you came in with full guns blasting, and you've stepped into this board in the same way. Shockingly, you're getting the same results. Old habits die hard I suppose.

In none of my posts have I mentioned the HZ story. My comment about "blind KC supporters" not being able to tolerate any dissent, well, you've made that point for me in your follow up posts. The "facts" I referred to had nothing to do with the HZ story. It was making the point that many, you'll have to decide if you are in this category, have a very difficult time having thier thinking challenged without responding with vitriole and ad hominen attacks ie "clown". Offering anyone any advise on "civil" discourse when you don't do so yourself makes you look silly.

Never once said that KC supporters were out of line for questioning facts. Trying to put words in my mouth/post is another vain attempt to make a point you can't otherwise make.

Your degree of defensiveness would be amusing if it wasn't so sad.

Speaking of taking things out of context, how do my follow up posts make your point about, "blind KC supporters" not tolerating any dissent? And, when you pontificated that using names is uncivil, while posting that a person using names "can't make a point any other way", tossed in an emoticon after a tired, unoriginal....uh, compliment...and indicated that you didn't know whether to be amused or saddened by another person's actions, I again thought surely you might be trying to make a point.

Cluck, Tubby's right...it wasn't JUST Henzone, or JUST Bang/Slat/UDPA/North...it was also guys like me starting an "Open Letter To KC" thread after the Richmond game, where I embarrassingly called for the kicker's head...it was guys like you and foghorn continuously taking up the other side of the argument and refusing to ever see where some people were coming from (and, in many cases, just playing into the hands of guys who wanted nothing more than to stir shit up)...it was guys like BlueHenBill (note: nowhere NEAR the same guy as bluehenbillk, for those who don't know) labelling the entirety of UD's student-athletes (except for 3 teams and one golfer) "failures"...guys like Henroid and Observer, who only posted to use phrases like "Sunshine Band" and "Blues Band"...guys like BaltimoreHen who continuously harped on the fact that KC didn't develop high school QBs and guys like OC'er who simply said "Who cares if he still wins?" in response to that.
